  1. Hey Everyone! I so happy to report that I've finally lost another 2 pounds!!! I just want to jump and down, I'm so happy. For the last three weeks I've been working out 4-5 times a week, trying really hard to push myself and now I know its been working.

  2. Another Monday gone...and I'm still the same weight. Sometimes I just want to scream. I've been working out like crazy trying to break the plateau, but its not working. I really want to get another fill, but my next appointment is not until Aug 5th. And this week has been so stressfull, my husband has not been nice(to say the least) and all the stress is making me want to eat. Anyways, enough ranting...

    I so happy for those of you who have lost weight. Keep up the good work.

  3. It's Monday again, so here I am. This week just flew by, but not a suprise since it was a short work week. Although there has no change in my weight I do have some NSV to report.

    I was at a couple of parties this weekend and had a really good time. Alot of people have notice my weight loss and were saying how great I looked. Having never been one who receives alot of attention, this new amount of attention was kind of overwhelming. I mean I thanked everyone, but I felt like poeple expected me to have more self eestem or something. Before, when I was heavier, I was really shy...now I feel like people want me to me more out going (which I'd like to be) but I feel like I'm just not used to it. And I know I shouldn't care about what other people think, but its hard.

    Also this morning I went for a walk. And since I've been trying to add in more running, I tired running for a little bit longer and finally was able to!

    So the moral of my story is, try not focus so much on the weight loss this week and think about all the great new things I'm finally able to do.

  4. Its Monday again, so I'm back to tell of my progress. The month of June has not been a huge sucess like I'd hoped, but I did lose 4 pounds, which I know is normal, but I'm so close to my goal weight I just want to get there. But I'm trying to be positive...so I thinking good thoughts and July is going to happy and sucessfull. Good thoughts to everyone.

  6. Just checking in for the week. This week has been so unproductive!!! :blink: My weight loss is slowing down even though I been trying to work extra hard at the gym. But I figure, I'm going to jump start some weight loss by doing a liquid only diet for the next two days. I've read on these boards that one way to brake a plateau. So, I'll report back if it does. But if it doesn't I'm going back to my doctor for a fill.

  11. Please update me too! Not only am I trying to get to my goal of 170lbs, but I'm also trying to work up to 20 minutes on the step mill(the machine that has continual steps) at the gym. Right now I can barely do 10 mintues with out being out of breath!

  13. I just got my lap band this last August and have two fills. The first fill I really didn't notice much of a difference as far as restriction goes and no PB, so my doctor gave me a second fill about a month ago. Since then I've had three PB. Two of the PB happened after eating bread and the third after eating a small amount of steak. Should I just avoid bread and steak from now on or should I ask my doctor at my next appointment to unfill slightly?
