  1. Hello and Welcome. My story isn't any different than anyone else's. I was very overweight and had tried for years all kinds of diets. I came to the realization that I needed more help than groups or blogs or psychatrist. One thing I did know was that a gastric by-pass was not for me. One day while I was vegging out in front of the TV I saw an ad for the Band. I started researching it and was amazed. I attended my first seminar and was more than determined that this was what I wanted. I attended my second seminar with my husband and he also saw that this was a way for me to go. I made my first appointment and than it was a 6 month ordeal with the insurance company. I outlasted them and was rewarded with a phone call saying that I had been approved. My life hasn't been the same since.

This has not been a cakewalk. I still have huge hurdles to climb over. I'm still battleing an eating disorder. I always feel like I have to eat it all. Clean my plate. I'm working on those issues. But in the meantime I am the happiest person in the world. I love my band. It has changed my life like nothing else. No turning back.

Good Luck to you and I wish you success with your Band.
