Just got home from our hospital shift. It was ind of an easy night. I lie it that way. I don't like coming home all pooped and tired out. Thursday is my only day off from work and they have scheduled a staff meeting for tomorrow. Well, at least it's for only an hour. This one will be interesting. She is cutting work hours. Actually she is cutting store hours so that affects us. The clients are real unhappy about it. They don't like the fewer hours to work out. So I'm anxious to hear if things will change. I have a slight chill in my bones. I don't think I'm coming down with anything. It's the cooler air coming in that's doing it. Guess it's about time to get the electric blanket out and on the bed. I started smoking when I was 16. In January of 1990 I got a real bad cold that just got worse everyday. I than got Broncitis and things got worse again. One morning I lit a cigarette and thought my lungs would explode. My Sisters took me to the Doctor's and they sent me right to the hospital. I had pnuemonia in both lungs and it was bad. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and it was another 2 months before I could return to work. I never lit another cigarette. I think the pain I remember keeps me from doing it. I have plenty of days were I would kill for one. Sometimes they still smell good to me. I'm so glad hubby quit this last March. Than in 1998 I had started bleeding very heavily every 2 weeks. The 3rd time it happened I got my butt to the Docs and made it in time. My biopsy showed I had A-Typical Endometrial Hyperplasia and needed emergency surgery. It turned into a nightmare from there. I got soft tissue infection and had to have 2 more surgeries after that. Followed by 4 months of a home health nurse coming 3 times a day to clean my wounds. I spent so much time in and out of the hospital. I was never so glad to be discharged from a Doctor. I'm sorry I had to have had the hysterectomy but I'm also glad it's over with. I have no monthly's now. Amen for that. Going to bed now. I have an early morning shift and right now I'm pooped. Talk to you all tomorrow.

I stopped and got gas this morning. $2.88 a gallon. Man-o-man. I hope it stays down. Loved it. Water retention big time this morning. I mean big time. I've been munching on some pretzels for the last few days and all that salt is showing up now. Crap. Kind of cool here today. A little rainy but mostly windy and overcast. Almost a Winnie the Pooh day. Blustery. I put up my Halloween stuff yesterday and when I got home today Hubby was out in front putting up the outdoor stuff. Now if I can just keep my mind off the halloween candy that I stashed in the spare room I'll be fine. Pam, that is so sad and scary about the boys. I'm hoping that God will help them get through this with as little pain as possible. Everyone have a great day.

When we were on the Train, the people across from us were taking their picture. So another couple tried it and than I decided to try it. This is what I got. LOL.

I'm starting my new week out in Rocktober mode. Need to do this. I was a bad girl over the weekend. TracyK, You keep doing your best and we will be here ANYtime you need us. Hey. Just finished loading the dishwasher and cleaning the kitchen. I made a pot roast with potatoes, carrots and peas. Biscuits and gravy. I also made an apple cake today. I only make this once a year. First, it's lots of work and second, it's 500 calories a bite. Seriously, and I even make cream cheese frosting for it. yum yum yum yum and yum. OMG, I just scrolled and got the pic of Robby sleeping behind the big ballon. I laughed out loud. That was to funny for words. Looks like our little trip down to the creek and the goose chasing wore him out. I had a lot of fun with him. I can't imagine him and the others all together. I would be so worn out. Kudos to Tracy for having all the energy to raise all those boys.

Good Morning. It is beautiful here this morning. Have to enjoy it today because they are calling for rain tomorrow. I'm off to go get Sis and take her grocery shopping. I was supposed to have taken her Thursday but she didn't feel like going. Now it's my turn to feel like not going. Heck, I just got back from stocking up at Wal-mart. I've had enough shopping for the day. I need your recipes for that snack stuff you guys have talked about. The one with the candy corn and peanuts and whatever else you put in it. I've been thinking about it for days and now I want to try making it. Let me know how. Thanks. Other than it being "Football" day, not much else going on. I'm gonna put a roast in the crock pot soon. Oh, did I tell you guys that they hired a new person at work. We have to get her trained and than she will take over the am shift. No more getting up at 4:30am. I know that I enjoyed myself. I met alot of new people and had some good talks with some others. That Robby is a hoot. I'm glad he's not mine though. I just don't have the energy to keep up with the young ones. I don't know how you do it Tracy. I did have a good time with him though and am very thankful he decided not to go swimming. LOL Nice quite evening here. We are going to watch a movie and just relax. Have a great evening everyone.

Tracy, you made me cry when you were talking about how we worked so hard to get where we are to only run into a roadblock. That is so true. It's so frustrating. I wish I had magical words for you. I have Halloween candy in my house. My cousin called and wanted to go to Sam's wholesale and I went ahead and bought the candy. Hopefully if it never get open and I wont get into it. My next appointment with Malley was for the 13th. They called and we changed it to the 16th. I got into work today and I have a staff meeting tht day so I called and changed my appointment to the 20th. Now if I can just keep my mouth shut till than. LOL. Pam, you are my rock star. I look up to you and all that you have accomplished. Be very proud of who you are and where you have been. It's a long road and one you won't be walking alone. Hang in there. Just got back from my second trip to Hobby Lobby. I love that place but have to watch myself and make sure I don't walk out with a fortune in "Stuff".

Man, I've been busy all morning long. Before I headed home I decided to go to the car wash, drive thru. So when I got home I got inside and washed all the windows. I'm worn out. It's a beautiful day here today. I had for breakfast, 2eggs over easy. I piece of bacon. I biscuit with gravy. No lunch. I just had a handful of pretzels. Dinner will be very late tonight because I have Tai Chi class. I'm very proud of myself today. Will see what tomorrow brings, TracyKS, That's wonderful about your Mom. Good Luck with your PS appointment. Kat, someone ordered porn over the phone and used the numbers off of our checking account. On our statement it listed the phone numbers of the porn places. I called tham and they gave me all the info on who ordered it and their address. They refunded our money. They were very nice about it. At the bank we had to close every single account and reissue new numbers. We went to the police and gave them all the info, alot of good that did. We have never heard back from them. I eventually called the guys wife and informed her that her hubby was ordering porn and using other peoples money. We had drove by their house and I saw kids toys outside. I told her that with kids in the house that she needed to keep an eye on what her husband was doing. I left that on her answering machine. I see that they have moved since. I was in the kitchen mopping the floor when I heard Molly (our cat) fall in the pool. The cover is on it but she must have thought she could walk on it. Hubby came running when I called him but she was out by the time he got there. Her whole back end is wet. So we don't have to worry about her doing that again. Crazy nut. Haydee, How is your sister doing since her surgery? Is she losing good? Everyone have a great day.

Good Morning, The only thing keeping me from walking to th DQ was the big hill I would have had to walk up. Believe me, it was so tempting. Busy day for me today. Our Family breakfast is this morning at 9am. Than I have to go over to Sis's to do her bills and take her grocery shopping. Tonight I have my Tai Chi class and than home for dinner. Hey Girls, We're back. We went and saw "Noah, the Musical" last night. Wonderful, Awesome and wonderful. It was Amazing. We ate at "Waxy O'Shea's" for lunch. We jsut ordered appetizers. Get this, I ordered Deep Fried Hard Boiled Eggs. And believe it or not, they were good. I only ate one, but I liked them. I'll post more tomorrow about or trip. Hey Girls, I am pooped. We have been walking like crazy today. Last night we spent the night at a holtel at the "Lake". It was so good to see the lake again. I sure do miss living there. Sad that we sold our place a few years ago. But there was no way we could keep both houses going, but now that hubby is retired we have the time for it. It's amazing that I can't be away from home for one night without getting phone calls from home. Yikes. I hate to think what would they do if something happened to me. I've done ok with my eating. Had to stop at wally world this morning and buy a case of water. It's easier to do that when traveling. Just have to make to many stops for --you know what!!!!!!! I did take Abba dabba to the arcade and let her play games she could handle. She had a blast. I like to play the slots, it's just that I hate to lose also. Hubby and I are going to Lake of the Ozarks today to visit an Uncle and Aunt. Hopefully we'll see some pretty trees. TracyinKS, is there anything you need from the outlet malls? Boy it really is quite here. We just got home from going to a B-day party at the Amerstar Casino. Hubby and BIL and I shared a plate of nachos and they shared a tower of beer. I was going to get one of those Mojito's but decided if I was going to drive home I better not. We only stayed for about 2 hours anyway. Didn't even gamble any. Tomorrow is football day so I'm sure it's a rest day for me. Get the laundry done day. Hope all is well with Terry.

TracyK, I was sad too wehn I read about Paul Newman. TracyinKS, I just signed Hubby up for the walk. I'm so excited about that. His sister sent me a huge check and I think that made him think about it. So you will get to meet my "Harley Man". I've gotten several checks but don't know how to list them on the website. I'll just bring them with me. Can't wait to see you again.

I did it. I walked to work this morning. Took me a little over 20 minutes to go 1.3 miles. I even had time to stop at the "Casey's" General Store and get me an iced tea. Had to call hubby to come and get me. There was a box they wanted me to take to the north store, so he came and got me. It's a beautiful day here today.Think I'll get back out and enjoy it while I can. Super Duper Hugs to Terry.
