Sunshine. I can't answer your question as I have never thrown up the whole time I have had my band. I've had a quesy tummy at times but never need to throw up. Went to work this morning than over to the car dealership. Not good news. They charged me $90. to tell me that they couldn't pinpoint the problem, just that there is a large fuel pressure going on and it could be a list of a dozen things causing it. So they want to eliminate it by process starting with the cheapest. $320.00 to change the sensor and see if that is what is cuasing the problem. If not than it might be the fuel pump, if not than it might be a wiring harness. Whooly Crap. I need to go get a job. It's an "04" and has only 45,000 miles on it. Jane, I can meet you the 23rd if you want. Just let me know what time and we can meet at the same place as before. TracyKS, you up to go with me to Columbia?????? I'm not doing to good on my food choices today. Sucks to be stressed. I have been very very good on my water. Up to 80 ounces already. :laugh: Have a great day.

Good Morning Girls. Yup 5am again. Not only am I covering for the girl that just quit but a girl at the South store is on vacation. So now I am covering her shift also this week. Just love this part-time job. LOL. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. It's just that it leaves me no time for my Vi's. And in between shifts today I have to take my car in. The check engine light has been on for a week. I have time to take it in for a diagnosis today but will have to take it back Thursday for the work. My sister has several Doc appointments this week and I can't get her into the truck. Judy, Thank You so much for the text. I really needed that. And I am most impressed with you and your journal. I wish I was a better one. Mine sits half empty. No snow here yet but I did see a salt truck yesterday, sent a chill down my spine. It's that time of year again. I miss my pool. Jane, I'll check my calender and let you know. Maybe we can talk Tracy into going with us??????? I miss all of you guys and I promise to take care of myself this week. Good Morning, Up and getting ready for my early morning shift. TracyK, The new girl we had gotten and trained quit on us and now I have to cover both shifts again. We have signs up for help but the problem is the hours. No one wants to work 6am-10am. the ones that come in have kids and need to get them on the bus during those hours. It will take awhile but we will eventually find someone. I'm still struggling with the head game. I just can't seem to quit this fight that is going on in my head. I seem to want to fight my band all the time. The band tells me NO and my head tells me GO. I did really good yesterday but that was because I wasn't home all day and around the kitchen. Lets hope I have a really good week because next Monday is my next appointment. Everyone have a great day and make really good choices. Hugs to you all.

Hello, I sure missed you guys. We went to Richmond Friday evening for a baby shower. Our niece and her husband adopted a baby and they had a huge gathering to show him off. We ended up spending the night at hubby's sisters. We had a good time. Came home and stayed in my jammies all day and in my chair. Just felt a cold coming on and I wanted to fight it off. Today I was wanting to go to the Mall and get some shopping done. I took Abby and that was a mistake. We had a ball but ai couldn't get any shopping done. However I did have a huge NSV. Abby decided that she wanted to ride the huge merry-go-round. Not just ride it but to go up on the second floor and ride the pony up there. I actually had to go up there with her and ride. Yup, that was me up there on the merr-go-round. It was a lot of fun but after awhile I was getting dizzy. We had a wonderful day today and she wore me out. I'm all for the chocoholic trip. Maybe next year we could have the group get-together there. I will just have to not tell my sis I'm going. I just go and then tell her after I get back. LOL. Have a great evening

I have just a minute to stop and say HI. I worked 6-9am and am on my way back to the other store to work at 10am. Just enough time to get me a bowl of oatmeal and go potty, maybe kiss the hubby on my way out. I will be stopping by later to chat, but hubby and I are going out of town for the night. We should be back fairly early tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing from Kat and from Pam.

All is not right with the world until American Idol is back on. I hope this year is as exciting as last year. I actually heard my first Christmas song on the radio today. Yikes, too soon. Last year the started the day after halloween. I guess people must have complained about it. Told my Boss today that I wasn't going to decorate till the week of Thanksgiving. I hate going into a store and the already have all of there stuff out (except Hobby Lobby).

Yup, I use my checks for household bills. Everything else I use my debit card. Still gotta keep track of the spending.

You take the checkbook, open it and if there are still checks in there you still can go shopping. That's how I balance it.

Jane, right now it is 52 degrees and very very windy. The next few days it's supposed to be in the 40's and than drop from there next week. So I'm sure it's headed your way. Went to our Family breakfast this morning and ordered french toast. Tried to disguise that I wasn't eating all of it. Was glad when the girl finally came and took our plates so I didn't have to answer questions anymore about "Why aren't you eating". Was good seeing everyone. Came home and mopped the floors and balanced the checkbook. Gonna take the rest of the day easy. I'm working a double shift tomorrow and than hubby and I are going to his sisters and spending the night. Busy weekend for me. Have a great day.

Interesting evening last night. We worked our shift and I kept running into people that I knew. One of them was a woman that I had worked with and she got her band about 6 months ago. She looks good. Anyway, Hubby and I are sitting there and I hear my name paged. So I pick up the phone and it's my sister telling me that she has her hubby in the ER. So off we go and it turns out that he had hurt himself at work. They had him lifting real heavy stuff and he had a muscle spasm in his back. Well, I run into another person I knew and I was able to get caught up with her. It was nice. I get back to our department and I'm in the decontamination room and they unknownly had me some contaminated equipment. So I get the scrub down. I have the cleanest hands and arms around now. I ain't touching anything. Jane, That was fast. I really didn't think you would have that done till after the Holidays. But I would have been the same way. My sewing has a calming affect with me. I would have also been sitting there in the courtroom just sewing my fingers away. Jenn, Take care of yourself and Happy B-day to your son. Everyone have a great day.

The weather is starting to change here. It' supposed to start raining tonight and the cold air will be moving in with it. I'm ready for it. It keeps me inside and I need to be here. I still have some work that needs to be done on my Violets Christmas present. Need to get my little fingers moving with the needle. I probably have about another 20 hours of work left on it to do. I'll take a pic of it and after my Secret Violet receives it, I will post it for all of you to see. Watching Emeril right now. Making me hungry.

Just finished my oatmeal. Now here pretty soon I'm going to start back on my water. So far 30 ounces down.

That sucks about the reflux. Hope there isn't a hernia. Guessing you don't want another surgery. Funny about you Mom. I also remember those days. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. It was hard but am so glad it is over for me also. My problem right now is fighting the band. I just seem to want to push it to the limilt. My band says no and my head says yes. I hate this crap going on in my head right now. Some kind of funk going on. Have a great day.

Home from work. I enjoy listening to all the conversations going on. Sometimes they can get me to laughing so hard. Not much else going on today, maybe take a little nap before we go into work tonight at the hospital. Drinking my hot chocolate and will be having my oatmeal after 9am. I'm trying real hard to not eat anything before 9. So far it seems to be working good. TracyKS, do keep us posted.

Guess I'll just have to wait till the morning to find out who our next Pres is going to be. I'm heading to bed soon. I only had to show my voter ID card when I went to vote. Congrats to all who made excellent choices today. Hopefully we can keep it up. If you didn't, than maybe tomorrow will be better for you. Judy, I had my nails for about 2 years. I took them off myself. I also missed my old nails. They however took a long time to get back to normal. I still have a few problems with them getting thick. They just seem to be a little on the softer side. I do sometimes miss my acrylics. Have a great evening.

I'm wearing my "I voted Today, Did You?" Sticker. I actually have 2 of them. Hubby gave me his. We stood in line for about 20 minutes but it moved the whole time. I have to say that they were very organized and ready for us all. Went in and covered for my boss so she could take her daughter to the dentist. I than went to lunch with some friends. We went to the "Salty Iguana". Love that mexican food. They need to make that our national food, like we have a national everything else. lol. Need to try to figure out what to watch on the tube tonight. Guess I'll just watch stuff I have recorded. Catch ya'll later.

I was wondering this morning if any of you who had the books you were all talking about that dealt with the issue of "Fighting the Band". I'm trying very hard to understand why this is such an issue with me. I can't figure out why I fight it all the time. Most time it wins but why do I keep pushing it. You would think that when it starts to tell me that I'm full and can't take anymore my head still thinks it is ok to put it in there. I was just wondering if any of the books you have talk about this and what do they have you do to help overcome it. Working a double shift today. Boss has to take her daughter to the dentist, so I'm gonna go in and finish her shift. Than I'm off to go meet some friends for lunch. I hope Kat is doing ok and having a good time.
