Down 30 pounds since surgery..feeling great!

2 weeks and 2 days post-op, haven't lost a single pound...so damn discouraged right now!

4 days Post Op.... feeling pretty crappy at the moment 8(

Less then 2 days until surgery for both me and my wife!!

Called UMR this morning and was informed my wife and I were BOTH approved for the Lapband surgery!!!!!

Finally our paper work was sent to UMR yesterday, after going through 2 weeks of calls to my surgeons office. Seems the person who does insurance never sent the paper work in, and had no real excuse why she was too lazy to do it.

So frustrated with my surgeons office today!!!!

Had my sleep study last night....possible the worst experience of my life (as far as sleeping goes) 8(

Sleep study tonight ... 7:30pm - 6:30am. Gonna miss my wife tonight.

2 more days until my first surgeons visit..getting excited!!

I knew just the 100lbs over weight requirment was too good to true..lol. That's why I **triple checked** with my insurance company. You can't never really trust what a rep tells you. Glad I persisted and finally got a rep who knew what they were talking about. So long story short my wife and I DO have to do the 6 month diet. Not a problem though..we will get over this hurdle and get our surgery done!!

My wife called our insuraqnce company today...looks like the only requirment we have is 100lbs overweight or the BMI requirment (which we both meet), asked about supervised diets and other requirments and she was told the weight/BMI and 1000 co-pay was the only requirment!!! Hope the info is correct!!

Insurance cards came in the mail yesterday!!!! Coverage starts January 1st!! Our first appointment with the surgeon is on January 18th, I can't wait!!!!

My wife and I went to our seminar today..got alot of great info!!!
