  2. You have to be very careful. You are healing. Anything solid could stretch you pouch and pop the stitches around the band. The third to sixth day was the most painful for me. I am 19 days out and feel back to normal for the most part. Just take your pain meds and walk walk walk.
  3. Keep up the great attitude and you will suceed!

  5. Where can I purchase the book Bandwagon Cookery?
  6. Congratulations! Great attitude keep it up. I am 9 days out. I have a little apetite. But I pretty much make myself eat dinner to keep my strength up. i seem to get weak late in the afternoon. But i am extremely happy with my band. I feel kinda hungry in the morning then about 1 o'clock but after that I am not hungry the rest of the day. I just get a little nauseous but not too bad. I dont know if that means I am hungry. I am still learning my bands sighns. Well good luck on your journey.
  7. My first 2 days were great. The next 4 days were up and down. Today I feel better Just a little nauseous but nothing to take medicine for. Overall it has been pretty good.

  16. My doctor told me 8 weeks for puublic pools , rivers ,lakes ,or ocean. 4 weeks for your own pools or hot tubs. I hope this helps,
  17. I had surgery on Monday this week. I also have sharp pain when I take a deep breath. I didnt have a hernia repair. People on this sight told me it is where the band is and it can also be the gas they put in. I have found that it is worse when I standup strait. If i lean forward and take a deep breath it doesnt hurt hardly at all. I hope it goes away soon. Good luck on your journey. That pain is the only complaint I have. I am also having difficulty drinking enough water. Does anyone know how to tell if you are dehydrated?
  18. Thank you I was worried I might have pulled something . I have found if I lean forward to take a deep breath it doesnt hurt . I know thats weird but whatever works right.
  19. I am 4 days post-op . Just about everytime I take a real deep breath I get bad pain. It is where my band is. Is this normal and will it go away? Otherwise I am doing great. No pain at any incisions or even the port site. Could it be gas?
  20. Mine is 48 hrs liquid then full liquids until post op visit. But can proceed to mushies if I can tolerate them.
