  3. I was sleeved on 03/20/2012 and have lost so far 42 pounds. I am so excited about my weight loss but have noticed that Im already showing sagging skin under my arms. I want to know the importance of Protein.< /strong> I have not been able to consume the 60-80 grams that I was instructed. All the power shakes I buy are gross and I dont know how to mix it. I was told to use 4 oz of Water and one scoop of protein. I found these Protein Shots at walgreens that have 28 grams of protein and 0 sugars 1 gram of carbohydrate. Does anyone know about that? will it be ok to take it? On another note I feel Constipation what can be done to fix that? Theres days that I drink the minimum of 64 oz of water, then theres days I dont. Im so confused becuase I dont know how much is too much when it comes to water, I dont want to pop a staple inside persay. lol

I need as much advice as I can get, The nutritionist thats involved with my bariatric doctor is the type that you have to push the words out of him. I want to be healthy and need all the help I can get.

Specially with the water intake, protein & excercise.

    thank you!!

desperate for answers and all the help I can get

  4. I just got sleeved on 3/20 and feel satisfied to know I made a great choice. With time I will heal and loose this weight. I made so much research with this and decided to do the sleeve because nothing else gets modified and only one organ gets changed, & It only gets reduced. Every surgery is risky. Keep in mind that you can regrow the stomach. Another thing is food intake. With the sleeve I get to eat anything without restriction. The bypass is more delicate when it comes to food. I'm happy with my research. I can suggest that you check you tube out and follow people that has had it and watch their lives change. Good luck!!!!

  5. After so many years of wanting to get Bariatric surgery, I finally am on the road to get it done. I just have so many questions. My nutritionalist has me on a 1400 calorie intake, and atleast 3 times a week of working out. In a month I lost 2 pds!! I was so upset. This month I'm stuck, then I ask myself what if I don't loose will the insurance company deny the surgery? Should I push harder to loose, what if I don't loose, I'm so confused. Can anyone help me in this matter? Has anyone been through this before? Thanks!

  6. I have a question, how does the behavior doctor goes? I'm afraid that they may test me to see if I should get the surgery or not. I really need this, I'm already on the process did my Upper GI exam and bloodwork. I am currently doing 14 weeks of a wellness program in which I have to work out & nutritionist visits. I know I qualify, Im at 51 BMI.

I need info, I want them to approve me for surgery.
