OMG JIMMY you will love that p90x.
I am doing a similar program called Supreme 90day
..which costs way less then p90x...but is the same stuff. I am on day 9 and I feel like I been hit by a bus. That's how you know it works lol. I already have more endurance and flexibility. Best wishes to you Lil Miss Diva,as well. Keep us posted guys.

Doing Supreme 90 day (like p90x)...today is day 9... I am 3 1/2 months out. I recommend this workout to anyone whose surgeon will approve it. You have got to push yourself. It is hard...I am so sore...but already see results. Always ask the surgeon before starting any exercise program.

Thanks guys...You made me feel much better...
I will get some Biotin. Also, I have slacked off logging my food so I will start again because I probably don't get enough Protein.
As far as water; question- I have extreme Water nausea...so does crystal light count?
So many things nauseate me - what do you do for protein sources (besides meats)?

:)Terrific Post! Please, come to my house and read it to me EVERY DAY

Sorry, I can offer no solution to the nausea...I am still in the lab working on that one. But, I can tell you that I feel your pain! I was having a lot of nausea and my doc told me that I had something called 'water nausea' where I can't have plain Water. Also, more sensitive to smells and even textures. Plus, I can't eat cold food. Its mostly just a matter of finding out what works for you. Its trial and error. Remember, if you have concerns, always consult your surgeon.

I got mine the day of surgery...like an hour before. Mind you, I hadn't had one in almost 5 years. My doc said its normal to have 'fluctuations' in your cycle when you drop weight. But, as always, if your concerned, consult a physician.

Okay, so now that my chins are joining forces and I can wear a decent size clothes without worrying about looking like a humped back whale...MY DANG GONE hair has thinned out so much...and got shorter. What the heck? I have always had lots and lots and lots of long thick hair...not so much now. Also, This has come at the wrong time. I am feeling really insecure about my loss. I lost 66 lbs. That's good. But I have like 100 to go... and my loss has slowed down to a crawl. So, I thought if I did my hair, nails, all my Prisses stuff I love, then I would feel better...but my hair won't do ANYTHING. It is flat and limp. I think it has thinned out quite a bit. No I am starting to have acne too. I feel very down about my looks..and I am Mrs.Prisses, danggit...I know looks aren't everything but when you have been so large, you kind of like to look your best. I feel discouraged for the first time. I am loosing like 2 lbs a week. At that rate it will take a year to get to my goal. Did I mention, I have bad hair now...and acne?
Someone PLEASE post the BOOT CAMP...i need it. Thanks.

Oh yea...those TV commercials...I had my sleeve done 12/26/11 and JUST NOW am I not hypersensitive to the massive amount of food ads, cooking shows, and related things on the TV. I stopped watching so much and just used the DVR so I can fast forward thru most of them.

Best most honest tip I have to offer is this; sleep much. If you keep really busy during the day then make your bed time early as you can, you will do better (or at least it helped me). When you wake up, you will be so hungry that the liquid diet will taste awesome and fill you up.
-
B- because you will Celebrate all the more when it is OFFICIALLY there. For me, I always wait until I am sure (usually 2 days of scales) to change my little ticker. I want to be accurate with where I am and how far I have come. Congrats so far on your loss!!
-
I have had an IUD since I had my son...never had a period. Before surgery, I lost about 15 pounds on the liquid diet. On the day of surgery BAM...period came. It came again after my first month sleeved...and I haven't seen it since. spooky little thing...but I don't miss it.
-
They are monitoring me VERY CLOSELY! I guess to see if they want to be sleeved. I have an obese hater at my job...and she is very kind to me now but always looking at me out the corner of her eye. She is waiting for me to fail. We were doing a weight loss challenge last summer and she wouldn't let me b on her team ..But... I guess I am the winner now She is a big meanie but I try to get her to see that there is no reason to hate on me. Oh well, that wasn't even the question anymore lol. Sorry, guys!

I had mine on 12/26/11 and have lost 62 pounds.

I think that they do lessen over time, but will always happen when you gulp. At least for me that is how it has been. I used to get them even when I eat. It was my full. But now, only once in a while if I have drank too fast or eaten too fast.
-
YUP! Anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. Just remember that if your sleeve gets irritated it can become inflamed and be swollen again for a short while.
-
Slow loss beats NO loss. I mean, it goes in spurts. Sometimes you will lose slow or even stall...but then other times you will lose faster. I think you should get an old t shirt and try it on every 2 weeks. You will feel the change better than scale numbers or even measuring inches. BIGG HUGGGS...Keep your heads up!

Mine is...watching my chins consolidate! AND being able to play sports with my husband and son, instead of sitting around watching.

I don't think so. Sometimes if you hold back you may not throw up. Also, depends on what you have eaten. I am eating chili right now and I can feel my "full" point, but because of the consistency, I can probably eat more of this then a sandwich. But, that also means I won't stay 'full' as long. Your supposed to eat until you are satisfied, not full. If you throw up, then you got too full. Seek to be satisfied, i.e. no longer hungry. You may still have an apatite but that doesn't mean your hungry.
