Do I have regrets I dont know.. I am scared of the unknown. I have not have any problems so far with the band, I was banded on march 1st first fill on april 27th. I read ever post here and I think that some of them scared me to death ..... some of the post are really scary...should I believe half of what I read?

woundering why we have not heard form you. It is alway something please take care of yourself.

I felt fine, had band on march 1 and moved the next day big house big job was fine. piece of cake

I was banded on 3/1/07 my bmI was 35 too. I was fully covered by my insurance I always thought I was 5'9" my dr. said I was 5'8" and I think He added a couple of extra pounds too. I did have health issues.

wow good for you and to want to help other teenagers. HOW DOESIT FEEL TO LOSE ALOT OF WEIGHT? Iam sure you will be a great help to other teenagers. That is a hard age everbody wants to be skinny and look like paris at that age. good luck to you..

I was allowed to have Protein Drinks 3 times aday, That saved me. You will be able to eat more soon, You are healing, you will feel better very soon. Take each day as they come you will be fine good luck

if you are having trouble I would take something. A little help wont hurt, you will be back to your old self soon. I was banded on 3/1/07 I had the samething. goodluck

Same for me I was just not hungry. I was banded on march1 07 , I still dont eat alot, I have not had a fill yet. april 27 is my fill date. Cant wait to see what that brings

It wont be that hard. You are not really hungery. You are healing. You will be fine good luck

Iam at 5 wks out and I am hungery very bad. I fight it and stay on a low carb diet. I also fined that I can eat much more food, everyday my hunger grows, I cant wait to get my fill. In the begin I was not hungery but now I am. I know it will get better with each fills..But with fills comes other problems, like pbs and slime and that scares me. Good luck to you

I find this hard to do too. Somrtimes I want a drink but then it is close to meal time so I dont know what to do eat or drink. I do follow the rule. I was banded on march 1 07 have follow the rules. might not like it but do it.

hope you feel good. all went well for you, follow your post op diet. keep moving the more you move the bettet you will feel. As for the bikini thing my days are over just a one piece will do. good luck to you

If you are feeling guilty you know why. I last night had people over and ate too much and believe it or not with chicken nuggets, I made them in the oven also cheese and crackers . didnt drink wine. no sweets too. I was really good today and will be for the next week. I was banded on march ! 2007 no fills yet first fill is on 4/27/07 guilt is good it keeps you on your toes. good luck to you

i was banded on march 1 07, yes there are times when I wounder did I do the right thing? I know I cant do this alone. I have tried and tried. But I feel differently each day, food can not be this important in my life. If I had a tooth ache and the tooth was bad I would tell the dr. to pull it. It is the same thing about the band I had to do it. Like it or not, kinder like tough love. In the long run it is the best for me. As for you well only you know the right thing. I dont like being FAT.....and I AM SURE YOU DONT TOO. GOOD LUCK

Had my surgery on march 1 and from day 1, I felt fine, no pain meds, no gas pains and everyday has been great knowing I have a band in me. Good Luck to you.

you might need to change your diet. Are you eaten your Protein first?

You will be fine. I had mine 4 weeks ago this thur. I felt great, didnt even take any pain meds. No gas pain. I know all people are different but you will do fine......... good luck

please I need to hear from really happy baners..I need to hear good thoughts I was banded on March 1 and i feel great, But I think IAM READING TO MUCH.... please respond and tell us how happy you are and you did the right thing.. I need to hear this, and I feel alot of others do too. It is not just the weight lost, but are you happy with your new life or do you feel like you are missing the food? ..Happy people we need to hear from you long time banders we need you please I need to hear from you guys.

I was banded on march 1, I felt great from the first day. When I got home I start to stain and then a full period which I have not had for a couple of months. Between not eating and bleeding really bad I had no strenght. I wounder if that was related to the operation. Well hope you are doing better. Iam feeling back to myself....good luck

hello I was banded on march 1 2007. I live in ny on long island i am 45 yrs old. happy with my surgery all was fine. didnt even take meds when I got home, the gas was not bad either. love this site could not live without it, started with lapband before surgery, after and now what are fills like. told all the other people at dr. office about this site. glad to join the march band club.
