Wow. I had surgery on 02/09/12. Does that include your pre-op diet weightloss?
i had surgery 2/6, i gained weight pre-op, so it includes pre-op gain and hospital IV bloating gain...

i didnt think or state that it kept your hair from falling out, thats why i said "maintain"... it makes it grow, therefore helps the shedding

Yeah, my surgeon said that if I do my 60-70 grams of Protein, I shouldn't have to worry about hair loss, but since I'm already thinning I don't want to take the chance. The guy at GNC recommended these Be-Beautiful acai berry chews that have Biotin, Vitamin A & C, and collagen good for hair, Nails, and Skin. They are quite tasty.
my surgeon told me the same thing...getting enough Protein will help, however i didnt ignore this tip from someone who said the loss of food eventually takes a toll on your body.

you mean in the US you can tell them what to do, even though you have no medical experience and are going off something someone said off a message board, sue them if they think it's not a good idea, calling it " not working with you"? and call it malpractice?
I actually was reffering to the part where she said the doctor that performed the surgery had washed his hands of it basically. I have had family members with complications from surgery's that were found afterwards, such as a peice of gauze left inside them, etc. To end up in a coma and ultimately death.
I was trying to offer a suggestion in peace if you all/ she didnt care for it..just keep listen to her complications, and I'll take my suggestion back.
