  1. Love this one...HATE when the nurses have to get the cuff for the fat ass :/
  2. And we just responded...no judgement here...
  3. Whether it's food or a smoking addiction it is hard to stop...unfortunately smoking could affect your sleeve but just like you are making a choice to follow your post-op diet you can also make the choice to ease up on the smoking or quit all together...you can do it you have made it this for, no need in possibly irritating your wonderful sleeve for a few cigs...I too am an ex-smoker (mj variety).....
  4. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

  7. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/TX/3506321/Dr-Nick-Nicholson-Baylor-Plano/ Bottom of thread...I decided to disregard as neither responded to private messages...
  8. Thanks for your response I PM'd both of them and received no response. I have not change my mind about the surgery or the surgeon I chose he operates at a Center of Excellence hospital is the medical director of the bariatric program at the hospital. No complaints from the state medical board and nothing on heathgrades. I have made my peace about him and the surgey, I am just nervous.
  9. You look marvelous and super young!
  10. Thanks for this post...eases my anxiety!
  11. January 16th and I'm already freaking out!

    Ecstatic !

    Thank you both!
  13. :cornut: I finally have a date 1-16-12 (Dr. Nick Nicholsoin), feeling super awesone over here (the wine helps). I am blessed that from my initial decision to have surgery 7-12-11 to being approved on 11- 14-11 was a fairly easy process (I had already done tons of research). I could have had my surgery as early as 12-19-11 but my birthday is on 12-30 and I didn't want to be on a pre-op diet or recovering near my birthday. I will finally hopefully (crosses fingers) fulfill my New Year's resoulution to lose weight this year (with a lil help :wink1: ).
  14. I so stole this and will be passing it on thanks!
  15. So sorry you are having such a rough recovery, I pray that things get better for you. Definitely food for thought, as I have not had surgery yet.

Is there an iPhone app that you can use to log in meals?

Tap & Track it is an excellent app!
  20. I was recently approved for surgery and have my one-on-one consultation with Dr. Nicholson next week to choose a surgery date. Although I haven't had surgery yet I did quite a bit of research and attended other seminars. Dr. Nick is highly recommended and operates out of an Center of Excellence hospital, don't think you could go wrong there. Dr. Kim, Dr. Stewart & Dr. Davidson are also good and have been used by many of my co-workers and are in he DFW metroplex. Good luck!
