  1. Hi Tracey,

I am right there with you. I was sleeved on Feb 4th. On Feb 9th I weighed 213. The next week I lost like I believe 9 lbs and then have only lost like 4 more. My ticker does not show it. I really have not lost anything for a few weeks, maybe a lb up and down. I am kind of discouraged. I know it will come off. It has to. I am very good about what I eat and I have been walking a lot also. My clothes difinitely fit differently so I am losing inches. I was to so bad be under 200 but it I am just stuck!!!!!!!!!

We both have to hang in there. Know you are not alone. Hopefully soon we can look back at this post and laugh together . :) When I look at the big pic and realize that I have lost 30 lbs in 5-6 weeks, it really is not bad at all!!!

  2. Thank y

    Yecats...

One time my pharmacist was trying to get something for me smaller in size to take than my omeprazole and they put a sticker with my name on a box of prilosec. Litterally the same box that was sitting on the shelf. So if all else fails, that may be an option for you?

Thank you Sandy.... I wonder is it way more expensive?

  3. I was sleeved in Mexico 4 weeks ago. I have some acid issues. I was thinking of starting to take Omerprazole. I have heard some take it, especially when they think they might be confusing being hungry with havind acid.

    My question is this...

All I can seem to find is the timed released Omerprazole , Do any of you take that? I seem to recall my surgeon saying not to take time released something but maybe that was tylenol or something else. I am not sure.

  4. I think that was very conservative, in your reaction, lol. That was so sweet of them to tempt you like that lol.

Truly what wonderful family you do have for being there.

Congrats on being sleeved, I was sleeved 02/04, right behind you. Hang in there :).

  5. thanks all. You really are all an encouragement to me. I am just 3 weeks post-op and I can't even imagine what it will be like a year from now. I still don't dare to hope. I have always been fat. Always. It's going to be like an alternate universe experience.....

    Spatters,

I felt the same way, I still do in many ways, I can not imagine not being heavy. Only 4 weeks out and I can fit in jeans I haven't worn in a long long time. lol . I do not see a lot of change but am beginning to feel a lot of change! :)

  6. Trust your instincts. Only you know if this is right for you or not. It is not a quick fix or a easy fix all solution.

I have not yet to have buyers remorse but although I went into this with eyes wide open, you can not totally prepare yourself for the emotional side of it.

That cheeseburger and fries I can not devour.............. but 4 weeks out tomorrow, I can cross my legs today comfortably and i played tag football with my grandsons today .

    Life is great!!!!
