    Les Mills Bodypump

oh...and I am STILL SORE! LOL I did Zumba yesterday though, so it's a combination of the two. My thighs are singin'! LOL

    Les Mills Bodypump

1 month, 3 weeks, and 3 days. Had to look at my ticker to see...LOL I made the mistake of doing weight lifting too soon (before 6 weeks) and paid for it by reopening my biggest incision. Now that it's healed, I'm back full force. I know my body and I must work out to lose weight and with so much to lose I want to get as much off during the honeymoon period as possible.

    Major Scale Victories!

Wow you're doing amazing! You should be incredibly proud of yourself!! And thanks for pointing out that you didn't do anything out of the ordinary. You're following your program and exercising and getting fantastic results. That's great to hear!
  4. I don't know what size because the last time I wore a 14 it was in high school. My main goal is to be under 200 pounds...since I can hardly even picture that, I'll decide on a clothing size then. Mainly I just never ever want to shop at plus sized stores after hitting goal. I want to walk into any store and buy off the racks!

    Not Fair

I'm almost 2 months out (7 weeks ans some change). My loss also includes my 10 day preop low carb diet. :-)

    Not Fair

LOL I'll tell you what my favorite nurse during my hospital stay told me. Don't weigh yourself for *at least* two weeks. Your body is going what in theeeeee helllllll just happened and is going to do all sorts of strange things.

    Sleeve Of Steel ;)

Mine definitely. I've only had an issue when I did the dummy (ate too fast or too much).

    Water Makes Me Sick

Unless it is ice ice ice cold it makes me nauseous too, especially having to sip it. Room temperature water literally makes me gag. So weird.
  12. Yeah, beyond the liquefying of your food and making it move through your tummy too quickly for lots of us it's just uncomfortable. It downright hurts if I take more than a very small sip of anything while I'm eating. It causes the worst air bubble ever. If it's any consolation, it does get easier as time goes on. I missed being able to drink while eating something fierce at first and now it's much better. Hang in there!
  13. Yes! Love the Danskin pants from Walmart. Helps keep the jiggle in check.
  14. Nice! I had to buy new pants too. Almost had an unfortunate incident in Zumba. LOL

    September Sleevers Progress!

yes, but just the 10 day pre-op diet (which for my program is just low carb). I didn't weigh myself the day of surgery because I assumed they would weigh me at the hospital (since they weighed us every time they saw us) so I don't know what I was the day of surgery. Before the 10 day pre-op diet, I had actually gain a good amount of weight....I fell hard into 'last meal syndrome'. HARD. LOL

Great job everyone! I'm almost 7 weeks and 42 lbs down. Woop!

    Non Food Rewards

At 50 pounds I'm doing a mani/pedi and getting a small wrist tattoo I've wanted for years. At 100 pounds I want to take a weekend trip *on a plane* since I shouldn't need a belt extender and won't be an anxious mess the whole time. I need to think of what to do at 125, 150, 175, and 200.
  18. ME! But you know that. LOL
  19. I was having this issue and Ken worked his magic. No clue what he did though...
  20. Great post! It is the little things that keep you motivated.

    Cornstarch?

    Much obliged, sir. LOL
  22. BKMama

    Cornstarch?

LOL damn Autocorrect. CARB count, not crabs. I just looked at my box of cornstarch and it's 7 grams of carbs per tablespoon. So if you're adding a teaspoon it's low. What's your program's carb guideline? (i know some say no carbs where others say up to 50 grams a day is fine) Anyway, I'm rambling... :-)
  23. Well, you know you're slipping back, you can admit it so that's a good start. What exactly are you doing? Are there triggers you've identified? Certain foods or behaviors that take you down that route? You really just have to make the conscious decision to not be the way you were before surgery....you already know where that path will lead you, you know? Once you know what leads you to make the not so great decisions you can figure out what you can do instead of that.

    Cornstarch?

You're fine! That little bit isn't going to set you back. Do you use my fitness pal to help you track your intake? It has really helped me to tweak recipes to bring down the crabs count per serving. :-)
