    Sex?!?!?!?! Omg Someone Help Me?!

I am only 3 days out, and have NEVER had a sex drive, but that is all I can think about (well that and when I can eat a real meal)
  2. Can I get an application : ) I am obviously just kidding, but I think I will try to add some liquid nsaid to my mix, after I cry pain to my doctor. Thanks everyone for your responses, and here's to a much better recovery!
  3. Good to know but I am not sure why people rob pharmacies for this, it barley touches my pain just makes me sleepy
  4. It isn't oxycontin it is oxycodine (almost like hydrocodine) , just to clarify.
  5. So what did everyone have for meds? They gave me 5mg of oxycoden 20mg of famotidine 0.12mg of hyoscyamine something for nasuea and they told me to take alieve but I don't know often I can take this.
  6. Yes, this is a US doctor at a top Boston hospital. One of the nurses didn't cut the pills for me and I told her they had to be cut and she said no they didn't. Seriously?? She eventually cut it, but why do I the sedated patient have to tell her that. How much are you guys walking? I am walking around the house, but I think that is all I can handle. I was also told to take alieve, which i swear is the only thing that is helping me.
  7. No Liquid pain medications, just pill form of oxycodine. The pills feel like glass going down, worst feeling ever. They gave me this plastic thing with a tube to breath through, and I have but it hurts my lungs so bad. Thanks for responding, I hope my day 4 will be better.
  8. Hi, I have chronic back spasms and not being in NSAIDS is causing severe pain. I forgot to tell my doctor that I OCC. take flexeril if the spasms get real bad. Does anyone know if the flexeril will interfere with surgery?..
  9. Thank you so much for your answer, I did hear back from the doctor today and she said it was fine!
  10. I was worried about this too, but the doctors office said your first weigh in is the number they submit to the insurance company. Once your approved, your approved! Good Luck!!
  11. My entire father's side of the family is moribly obese, and no one has ever done anything about it. They all claim to know the secret of losing weight, but they don't. I told my father about the surgery and he like I am sure a lot of other people said, well it is how much you eat and blah blah blah.. This coming from a man who has been obese most of his entire adult life. He said that he would rather weigh a zillion pounds then have the risk of death in surgery. I tried to explain to him that with my chronic knee pain, and back pain my quality of life is relativity low right now. It is hard not to have his support but at the same time I know he just doesn't want to loose me. I am so worried because if my weight loss journey is successful I will be the only thin (HOPEFULLY) person in my entire family. Maybe I will open a door to my other family members and they will follow i my foot steps? I am very happy to have the support of my mother and bestie, and my work friends. I
  12. Thanks everyone for your response. I am still in A LOT of pain from the endoscopy and can not eat with out severe pain, not the way I wanted to spend my last two weeks with my entire stomach Oh well I guess it is prep for the rest of my life.
  13. The reason I ask is because I told my surgeon's secretary and general doctor that my PCP's office recommended an upper endoscopy and they both said good that way you won't need the upper GI done. Well today I went for my pre op appointment and the physicians assistant wants and upper GI done on me. I am SOO annoyed because the endoscopy was done with hardly any (10mgs of valium whoopie) sedation, I was retching and vomiting (the small amt of liquid I had in me) the entire time and today 1 day after I am in severe pain and continuing to vomit. I really don't want to have another procedure done if it is unnecessary.

    BC/BS of MA

Hi, I have BCBS of MA and no they do not cover it. My surgeon said that they will prob cover it after several appeals, which is what I am intending to do.
  15. Hi I am new to the forums and I am wondering if anyone has every encountered an experience when their start weight is above the BMI >40 and the diet before surgery puts them in the "not covered" category. I have no major medical issues, except PCOS, GERD, Severe back pain and knee pain, and I am afraid after my pre surgical diet I will be under the covered weight limit. Maybe I should pack on the lbs before my consult?? What do you think?
  16. Hi everyone! I never thought I would even consider surgery for my weight condition, but as time goes on I keep getting more and more medical problems. I am very excited to think of my life as a thin person as I am 29 and have NEVER been a healthy weight!
