I am a teacher at a technical college but have worked in the health care field for 20 years. I'm sorry that happened to you. When is your surgery scheduled for? I'm sure you are getting anxious.

My name is Jody and I received my band on Thursday September 15, 2011. I am 51 years old. I have a 26 year old son who lives in another state - about 12 hours away. I was a single parent to him since he was 6 months old. He has seen my weight skyrocket over the years but never made me feel anything but loved. When my scale hit 280 -& my meds required me to use a daily pill organizer - I knew time was inevitable. The day I started my Journey was May 24th. So much has changed between that day & today. I am ready for my journey to healthy living.
