hi renee what was your preop diet? Did you lose all of that weight from that . How do you feel now..3 weeks after surgery? Should i cancel dinner plans that i have 3 weeks after surgery..or will i be ok to sip while the others eat? I really am trying to figure out when i will fell normal. I mean can you feel the band in place when you are not eating or drinking...when you are lying down? I still cannot decide whether to keep this a semi-secret or not..help i have more questions as i get closer.

also i am having trouble with the ticker factory gvraphic..howdo i get the actual graphic to appear and not the web address to it..i am not usually this techno-dumb:0

So I am scheduled for banding on MArch 5th..I'd love to know what foods I will never be able to tolerate once I am banded...so I can be sure to eat them in the next two weeks:)

After seeing the shrink and the nutritioist i saw the dr and got a date for march 5th. Now I am trying to calm my nerves by reading other success stories.

Why do only some Dr's (mine) require the liquid diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery?

So I am new and would love to know how people put those cute graphics on their posts..(the ones that show progress with weight loss.

Mine will be at NYU in NYC with Dr. Fielding. I do not live in England...although I do love it there:)

What Protein Drinks do you all like? I guess I should be trying out some as well..although honestly I am more into getting my last tastes of real food for a while:)

I just got my surgical date yesterday (it will be on March 5th) . I am very nervous,but want to go through with it this time ( backed out two years ago).

I don't kow how I will keep to the liquid diet for two weeks before, since I am having the surgery because I have been unable to stick to any diet. I seem to want to eat a lot now, to make up for no eating at all for weeks. Any tips for how to get through this?

Also I saw some pictures of peoples' scars (I thought there would only be one scar..I don't get why there are multiple scars)..do these heal up well?
