  1. I'm getting there! Slowly, but surely. Currently 155, down 68 just shy of my 1 year anniversary on Sept 10th!

  2. 157!!!! Down 66 lbs. 17 more to goal!!! To say I'm thrilled is an understatement! Slow and steady is my motto!

  3. Just back from Dr. I'm out of the Obese BMI range!!!! Said as far as he was concerned, if I just maintain this weight, he will be thrilled!!!

  4. Now over 45 pounds lighter than last year at this time. YEAH!

  5. Second fill today. Doctor was thrilled with my progress! Including pre-op diet, I've lost 26 lbs in three months, and am down 40 lbs since last New Years!!!! Feel so much better, my knees don't hurt, I can walk miles and not huff and puff. 40% to my goal of 25 bmi. Wish me luck (and no self-sabotage!)

  6. NYC Girl: PO Week 7 -- One more 1.2 lbs gone! Down below 190 for first time in MANY, MANY moons! Hip Hip Hooray!!!!

  7. NYC Girl: PO Day 42 -- Lost 1.4 lbs this week, for a total of 34 from high point, 19 from pre-op diet and 14 from surgery. Into "regular" size pants!! WhooHAAAA!!!! Goal for next week is to be mindful of not drinking with food. Difficult for me.

  8. PO Day #34. Lost just under 1 lb this week (32.6 from high point), but my appetite is getting more difficult to control. Still eating less than before, and although I say I want a slow and steady loss, it is disappointing not to see those large weight drops. Have returned to regular cooking, not having any trouble getting anything down. Keep concentrate on long view, practice mindful eating, and pat myself on my back for success! You go Girl!

  9. Hi Dawn! I'm down over a lb this week! Slow and steady, that's my motto! More hungry than before, but still able to manage better than before. How are you doing?

  10. PO Day #28 -- lost just over 1 lb this week, and happy that I'm still going down. Slow and steady, that's my motto. Haven't walked as much as I've wanted, so I'm going to make it a priority for this week. I'm more hungry now, but still eating wayyyyyy less than I did before. Just to remind myself, the band is a tool and won't do it all. Mindful eating! Down 31.6 from high point, 16.6 in a month from surgery! Pat on back!!!!

  11. PO Day #21 -- finished first week of mushies -- no problem. Appetite is coming back a little, so I'm looking forward to my first fill. Nevertheless, I'm not having too much trouble eating reasonably at meals, just seem to be more hungry in the evening so I've been having an evening snack. Not sure this is a good idea.

  12. PO Day #14 -- down 10 lbs and still not very hungry. Moved into the "mushies" stage this weekend with no problems. Spent most of weekend cooking -- made two soups (hearty lentil and leek/potato) and vegetarian chili, and steamed cauliflower -- all of which I purreed and froze and tuna salad (mixed well with lofat mayo). Bought some hummas, babaganoush, and lofat cottage cheese so I'm well stocked with good quality, lofat mushies. Also bought some baby oatmeal and wheatena for breakfast.

  13. PO day 10 - had first po visit with physician assistant, and all is well! Incisions healing well -- actually itch a little, so that's a good sign of healing. Current wl from po 0 is 9 lbs. A little too much, so will consider first fill in a month. Still not too much hunger. YAHHHHHH!

  14. PO day 6 -- feeling great -- a little stomach grumbling -- not much hunger. Scale is back up again after an incredible 7.5 lb loss in first four days, so I know it was mostly water loss. Still down over 5 lbs from day of surgery.

  15. PO day 3 -- Feeling good. Not much pain, just some gas and diaharea

  16. Do you know how to get weight tracker attached to profile?
