  1. Wow, I so feel like your husband now. Not THAT way!! My husband has been going through the same thing for 19 years 10 months. January 1993, that's when our nightmare began. Rods, screws, and 3 levels of crowns to replace discs and we are worse today. Either scar tissue or bone is still pushing on a nerve someone. But apparently it hides really well. He just had a nerve block and we are waiting to see if they found the nerve to they can kill it. And he takes a LOT of strong meds because his body just has a really high tolerance. I truly feel for you. So glad that you have such a great sense of humor because my husband is Really lacking in that area. He just withdraws. Will pray for that evil pain and that you get an answer.

  2. Sliming is when your stomach is too full and there is no room for your saliva or stomach mucus. It just comes up. It's not like throwing up because there's no food, just slime. My Dr. says it's a no no because it means you ate too much. Gotta learn to stop one bit sooner.

By the way, tmorgan, your life isn't so boring if you have a smelly doctor and people around you are talking about drugs. Sounds more exciting than my life. =^) Enjoy your postings.

  3. Search for Sliming on the forum. Ha Ha, Slimming is the great thing we are doing to our bodies every day. Basically, from what I can tell, because our stomachs don't hold much, when you put food in, all our gastric juices run to your stomach to digest what little is in there and since there is no room for the gastric juices, they slime right up and out. This is the tricky part. You have to take 1 less bite. It's been 7 months and I'm still trying to figure that one out.
