  1. This is so very true that its really sad. Happened to me... My "best" friend actually said to me " who is going to be the fat friend now?"
  2. Wow you look Fantastic!!!! Amazing!!
  3. It happened to me. Since you are so early on just rest up and take in all your protein and water. Feel better!!
  4. So I have been post op 9weeks. I guess I was in shock or I don't know what I was. That i have never said i love my sleeve till today!! Lol But I weighed in today at 205lb. Highest weight ever was 291 ( 3years ago) started my pre op diet at 268. Prior to surgery I weighed in at 240lbs. But I am sooo close to onederland, I can almost taste it! I am a slow loser I average 2lbs a week. I have a trip to Hawaii on May 4th. I know I won't be bikini ready (far from!) but I so wanna be under 200. Ahhhh I hope I make it! Btw I had an NSV... I can wrap my bath towel around myself and no skin shows!! Lol
  5. I weigh in this morning at 205.4lbs down 3lbs from last week. Onederland I am almost there!!!
  6. Yep you lost weight and a couple of years!!
  7. This is very true in regards to elevated temperature post op. shouldn't last long though and it shouldn't be too high. Let your doctor know if it continues or elevates. Feel better!!
  8. Hey guys, so I finally downloaded myfitnesspal. I had another program before but since the majority uses my fitness pal I converted. My user name is Adayinmysleeve add me would love friends
  9. I am stuck at 205!!! I wanna be in onederland sooooo bad! The darn scale barely has moved this week. So frustrated but I know that it will go down...with time and I will get there.............are we there yet??? lol
  10. Hey, sorry to hear that you are so bummed. Its frustrating. I honestly think it has to do with the low BMI. I was around the same weight as you when I got surgery. Lost only 35lbs since surgery and this week it has only been 1lb. Keep what you are doing. As long as you are eating healthy, drinking water, exercising you should be fine. Its 30lbs that you have lost, thats a great thing!!! Imagine trying to lose 30lbs without the sleeve. It would probably have taken longer. We are here for you!! hugs!
  11. I have an Xbox with a Kinect but my living room layout isn't enough space for the Kinect to "Find" big ol'me hahaha. Is that Wii good? My boyfriend has one... maybe I can borrow it
  12. I am a scale addict I get on every morning. It the only way I can keep myself in check but when it doesn't move I get antsy. I have a Homemedics digital one. Its not pricy (around $25) and easy to read. My scale is actually very close to what my doctor has, so there aren't any scale discrepancy surprises.
  13. I bought an ice cream maker too, inspired by egg face as well, still event tired it. Waiting for it to get warmer but its great to know that it taste yummy. let me know if you try more!
  14. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a great journey!
  15. So I went to a support group today that is about 35-45 minutes away from me. It's away from my area but it was GREAT!!!!! Everything that I want from a support group. I was bummed before because the one near my area wasn't so great. Thank god I found this one. Just wanted to share :-)
  16. I only had the day before surgery as clear liquids. That was it. But I didn't have to lose 10% of my weight prior to surgery.
  17. I had dizzy spells, it was low blood sugar cause I was consuming such a low amount of calories. I increased them some and voila! dizzy spells gone!
  18. LOL the title made me laugh out loud for real... Clears suck there is no other way to put it. Just keep focused!! Good Luck
  19. My surgeon is suppose to call me tomorrow, I will definately ask cause its killing me!
