  1. Also, go buy a Neti Pot and use it! I discovered them the week of surgery (I was desperate and trying everything! Lol)... They are SO amazing at clearing up your sinuses! Make sure you use bottled water though! Never get your water out of the faucet because you don't know what germs are in it!!!!!!!
  2. A grilled chicken patty (no bun) from Burger King with 2 slices of tomato. 130 cals, 3 grams fat, and 17 grams protein! plus it had the added bonus of being on the flame grill at BK so it was insanely good! Lol I have to admit though... I bought my fiancé a regular whopper meal and I actually went to the point of HIDING the bag from myself in the back seat of my car so I wouldn't pick at the amazing smelling fries... It worked!!
  3. 10 weeks post op. HW: 328 SW: 312 CW: 268 GW: 150.... Soooo excited to be skinny! Lol
  4. I just can't get over how fabulous you look at 9 months post op! You are so inspiring to me!
  5. I got some awesome sports bras at Marshall's. love them and they only cost me about $5 each. work great! I'm a 44DDD.
  6. Holy dumping, Batman!!! The past 2 days I have just felt terrible! Everything I eat sends me immediately to the bathroom and I "go" but still feel like I could vomit... I'm wondering if I didn't catch a bit of a stomach bug and combine that with a newly sensitive tummy... :/ here's to hoping work goes alright!
  7. My doc likes me to stay between 800 and 1,000 cals a day. Make sure you're getting protein and liquids in before worrying about calories at 2 weeks post op though! Protein will help your pouch heal up!
  8. I made homemade low fat burgers. Ate mine with a tomato, onion, lettuce, and some Natures Own low carb bread! So yummy, but I could only eat about 5 bites.
  9. This may be TMI, but I was in the shower and noticed when I washed my "girly parts", not only did I not have to stretch down and around my big belly, but I was standing straight up and was able to reach the whole way back! Holy crap! Can't wait to show my fiancé this new skill! haha
  10. I had Cheesecake Factory's Asian Chicken lettuce wraps--- holy! Yum! SO good, but I only ate about 2/3. The best part? Our Cheesecake Factory bill only being like $50... I guess that's what happens when you don't get appetizers, alcoholic drinks, or dessert! Yay for the double whammy of awesomeness!
  11. No! I craved pickles early on too! I just had a few sips of the juice! The flavor in my mouth at least helped
  12. Congrats! Welcome to the losers bench! Glad you're doing well! The first month is the hardest! It only gets easier and better! Good luck!!
  13. Omg your stomach looks fabulous! What kind of work out do you do?
  14. I feel the same way. I am 9 weeks out and 42 lbs down (38 according to my surgeon, but she didn't know I had gained 4lbs right before surgery. Haha)... At any rate, I see all these people losing like crazy an I wonder what I'm doing wrong!
  15. HOLY MOTHER F****** DUMPING SYNDROME!!! Oh my goodness! I haven't experienced this until today. I got stupid and decided to try an oatmeal breakfast cookie that I made my fiancé. I am SO sick! My heart is pounding out of my chest and I vomited twice. Yuck. I was worried I would never have this for accountability, but whoa was I wrong! Never. EVER. Again.
  16. I feel so abnormal. I have not dumped on anything yet. I have IBS so I assume its similar (if so, ugh!)... It kind of concerns me that I don't dump. Granted, I've been verrrrrry careful about the amount of sugar in my food. Never anything over 18/20grams, if that. Anything too fatty just make me throw whatever it is back up, but not dump... :/
  17. I'm having some chicken tenders.... The fiancé and I are out and that's literally the healthiest thing I can find on the menu.. Ugh.
  18. It's amazing to me how much I "pick food apart" these days. Lol
  19. I thought the same thing!!! I was like, what?? I am in love with jerky right now, but even the thought of broth sickens me!
  20. I don't know what it is, but I am battling some serious head hunger tonight. My fiancé is at a work conference and I'm home alone.
  21. Fabulous job!!!! That is fantastic!!!
  22. I noticed that my 30 min workout was a little too easy the other day. I stepped it up to 45 minutes today and I felt the burn! Lol SO excited though! Here's another... ** you look in the mirror and notice a few less "rolls!"
  23. You should try this casserole! 1 lb ground turkey 1 can fat free cream of mushroom 1/2 small bag frozen tater tots 1/2 c. Fat free cheddar cheese 1 tbs butter Melt butter in pan. Sauté ground turkey. Season as you like (I used a packet of dry onion soup mix, pepper, garlic powder, and a little season salt). When brown, transfer to casserole dish and mix with can of soup. Cover with frozen tater tots then cheese. Bake for 20-25 min at 350 or until tater tots are cooked. 1 cup of casserole is 235 cals, 11 grams fat, 16 carbs, and 16 grams protein.
