  1. I decided to try my old favorite again tonight, only instead of eating a cabbage roll, I took some of the sauce and sauerkraut off the top and put it on some turkey lunch meat w/cheese... So far so good!
  2. Just decided to do a "brave" side by side pic. Here it goes...
  3. My fiancé and I waited just about a week and then it was all systems go! Haha
  4. So, my pouchy does NOT like breakfast. Nothing about it other than a cup of decaf coffee appeals to me or my belly. I ordered some Click protein, which should be in today. I am praying this will stick because it doesn't even like normal protein shakes.. I can't stand eggs since surgery, so theyre a no go. I've basically been eating cheese and crackers, which doesn't provide enough protein for a meal. :/ My doctor wants me to get more protein than I have been getting, but I can't seem to find any "artificial" protein sources that will hang out in my tummy without having to gag them down.
  5. I made chicken stuffed cabbage with sauce and sauerkraut on top. One of my FAVORITE meals!! Unfortunately, my pouch didn't agree and I got to see my cabbage roll one last time before flushing it out to sea...
  6. I could totally use a pair of black dress pants if you have them..
  7. Ugh! There is one thing I miss more than anything since RNY... Fountain Diet Pepsi... Yum! I would commit a crime for a large, iced cold, fountain pop!
  8. I am SO sorry for saying exactly what you don't want to hear, but I will give a reason with it. Lol You DID just have two major surgeries in a row. The same thing happened to me within a month (lap band removal then GBP as a desperate surgery). I had the same complaint weeks post op. I felt terrible. No energy and I felt like life would never resume normally for me. I went to my surgeon and she explained it to me like this.... Your body isn't used to getting as "beat up" as it just did. When you think about it, not only were you just STABBED multiple times, but you literally had your insides that have been the same your WHOLE life suddenly changed dramatically. Your body is physically trying to cope with the change and heal it. A lot of your energy is going to healing up your organs. You're also going to be forced to lay around by your body so you don't "hurt" it anymore while its still trying to heal up the previous wounds. Hope that was a more detailed reason for why you're so tired. I would still contact your MD though to rule out anything else. feel better!
  9. I do enjoy a bowl of Special K protein cereal every now and again! I like it with some cinnamon and a packet of sweetnlow on it! Otherwise it has a bland taste.
  10. My personal favorite is pumpkin dip! 1/3 c. Canned pumpkin purée 1 container sugar free cool whip 1 brick low fat cream cheese Pumpkin pie spice to taste! Blend everything up and eat with sliced apples!
  11. Thanks ladies!! I just got off of the phone with my mom. We talked about taking me for a dress next year WHEN I'm skinny!!! Ahhh!! Never did I ever think I'd be a skinny bride!!
  12. Thank you! I am so excited to do some wedding planning and not be a fat bride!! Lol
  13. We FINALLY set our wedding date!! 10/17/15! I'm so excited! This means I have a little over 2 years to reach goal weight! I can do this!!!
  14. Oh, and that should be HUNGRY! Lol not HungEry! Haha
  15. Holy moly am I starving today!!! I could eat a house! Lol ... Well, my pouch may only let me get through the powder room, but you get my drift! And all I want are carbs! Aunt flow is due so I think she's playing mind tricks with me. I'm going to allow myself a carby snack though because I know if I keep pushing it off, I'll try and over eat another time... I just can't believe how much my tummy is growling at me today! And I've had 58 grams of protein!
  16. Same here... I average around 800 cals a day, but tend to lose every time I have my "fun friday" and up my cals to 1200. I didn't lose all week and last night after I ate about 1100 cals, I woke up and has lost 3 lbs. lol it's a balancing act. You need to remain low carb for the majority of the time, but also have to show your body that you aren't trying to starve it. Lol
  17. Omg I had the same thing for about a month after surgery. I was miserable! We finally found out that I had a hematoma(giant bruise) in my abdominal muscle from my blood thinner injections while I was in the hospital! They hurt like h***, but the only way to get rid of them is to move and break them up.
  18. Hahahaha thanks, but I got one of my own and he's enough! I actually have NO clue where I came up with the name! I think it's because I joined the forum right when we got engaged!
  19. Omg Karen you look amazing! I'm getting married in 2016 and could only dream to look as beautiful as you did on your wedding day!
  20. I'm eating my subway fit kids meal! Complete with sticker earrings!!! Haha
