  1. Good morning. Yes the 4th day was my turning point. I was actually able to get 1 1/2 mile walk in. A slow walk but it sure did help with the gas. I keep the gas x strips with me at all times even now. They are not too bad tasting wither (always a plus).

  2. I am so glad to hear your surgery went well. How are you feeling today? My worst day was Friday after the surgery. Now we truly are band sistahs :-)

  3. Thank you for the suggestion on adding protein to my pudding. I never even thought to do that, it is a wonderful suggestion. Now that's exactly why I need you for support. Thank you again!

  4. Hello, 3 days for you. I am sure you must be getting excited. I have my post op visit tomorrow. Looking forward to great results. I actually go back to work tomorrow. Just wanted to say hi and let you know I am thinking of you.

  5. I get so hungry I am anxious to get to the mushy foods. I sure hope the 1st fill will help make a difference. I hate hearing my tummy growl and hate feeling hungry.

  6. Girl I was so happy to see you too. I actually did not have a shake lasy night I had 2 sugar free popsicles and will have my protein shake this morning for breakfast. I have no clue how I missed that I could have the protein drinks. Makes sense to me why I have beenfeeling hungry..lol, I am so excited to be on this journey with you!. ! week my friend and you will be banded! Cheers to us !

  7. If you have an in person support group I suggest you go. You share information and experiences with other banded pals make new friends on the same journey, and free nutrition and exercise advice. My theory the more support the better.

  8. If you have an in person support group I suggest you go. Ours is once a month on Thursdays. @ns Thursday of each month. last month I learned what to expect how things are going with other gals and nutition tips. Great stuff. FREE even better lol

  9. I am just getting brave enough to walk around the block. The surgery was Thursday and I noticed I get wiped out quick so I figure a short walk is better than no walk right? Thanks for your support I look forward to your tips and more support on this journey.

  10. I will be at the Thursday support group for sure! I really appreciate the support and advice too. Thanks band buddies!

  11. Well I did so,e walking just around the block and at a slow pace at 3AM this morning...lol. It was cooler to walk at that time since we seem to be stuck in a heat spell in AZ. I am down 11 lbs since Thursday. I did make a brief trip to the store to get some hummus, oatmeal, pudding and a casrtoon of egg beaters. I picked up sugar free pudding too but I noticed no fiber and no protein so it's here

  12. Had my surgery Thursday and sleeping a lot off and on. Feeling good though. Definately the sore spot is where the port is. Taking all my meds, having broth, popsicles and jello today.

  13. Hello, the date is getting very close. I am hoping you will be able to come to the next support group in September. I went last month even though I was not banded yet and I really enjoyed being able to meet some of the gals that have experiences to share and others that are going to be banded.

  14. Had my EGD today and got to see where my surgery will take place. Staff seemed very nice ... 3 weeks and I will be banded.

  15. What a great feeling to see your supportive face! I am nervous about my journey so I apprecaite you and looking forward to the journey with you as my friend and support! Is this a picture of you before the surgery? I guess I should try to get a picture of my here so others can experience my cganges as well. Thanks so much for the PB2 samples I am defiantely investing in some.
