  1. Oh gosh, i hope thats not what i have to look forward to. :/
  2. Anyone have issues with diarreah (sorry, hate that word) after surgery when you had gall bladder removed? I am 7 days post op and have had a spell of diarreah at least once per day since surgery. With or without taking in a full liquids it hasnt failed that in some point of the day, it comes and im running for the ladies room. :/ I have my post op appt on Monday the 30th and will ask my dr then, but in the mean time was wondering if anyone else has experienced this??
  3. Mine says i was approved but is not a guarantee of payment meaning that if they find any of the submitted info as being false they have the right to not pay. Makes sense to me. Everything that was submitted is true so im not worried.
  4. Awesome video and awesome job!! Thank you for sharing it!!
  5. Yay, i cant wait for that moment! Congratulations
  6. Im 3 days post op and i can only lay on my right side or back supported by pillows on my side. Im too scared to try and lay on my left (port side) but man i cant wait till i can!! My right side is getting sore from constantly laying this way.
  7. Hello! Good luck in your journey! I struggled for a year to get the band and finally getting mine this wednesday!
  8. Oh and dont worry, im not looking for someone to say my actions were okay. My will power is and always will be a work in progress!
  9. Ahhhh....that's how i feel! Lol I would say that as of right now i have been 75% on target with the daily 2 Protein shakes, 4oz of protein and 4oz of vegs per day. I have slipped up and eaten a pb&j sandwich 2 of the days or have had a string cheese and a couple slices of lunch meat here and there or even a couple of ritz crackers. Just wondering if I'm one of the only ones who haven't/didn't maintain the preop diet 100% and if not did your dr. Notice you had cheated (meaning your liver didnt shrink as much as he liked or wanted)?! P.s. i have lost 4 lbs so far...surely Water weight
  10. One of my fav is Chike protein powder..i think u can only order it online but i am enjoying all of their flavors...choc/van/orange cream/strawberry/banana cream. Even then i mix things up a liitle and make my own flavora like pina colada! I tried the unjury, gnc, atkins, dessert lean, oh yeah rtd's (yuck)..so far chike is my top choice!
  11. Good to now patientlywaiting. Thanks
  12. Very true cazzy!
  13. Thanks. I'm getting the realize band on the 18th. Now that i know im having the surgery it just seems like i have seen a lot lately about slippage. That could be due to my nerves and my brain is now focusing on the negs. I just wanted to make sure i knew the statistics and be well knowledgeable when i do take the plunge.
  14. Its a touchy subject but I agree with tigereyes. Take it as a compliment. Its either that or have no one comment at all and then you'll wonder why no one has noticed your change/ hard work!
  15. Does anyone know the current % of patients that experience a slipped band or know of a legit site i can look the statics up? Looking to also see if the % varies between the realize band and allergan's lap band. Also the % of patients who need their band replaced due to errosion/ time.
  16. July 18th for me. Just found out yesterday! Ahhhhh, i never thought it would come (fighting insurance) but i can officially say it now! Good Luck to all the July babies!
  17. Thanks again! Since Surgery is right around the corner, i just ordered my favorite protien powder to replenish my pantry. 2 weeks of shakes may just drive me mad but i've fought tooth and nail to have this done so i best make the most of it! (can i still complain every now and again though ..he he) Now i just need to take a before picture...that's going to be hard since i have avoided cameras for at least the past couple years! EEEK!
  18. Good luck to u bravo!
  19. Thank you all!! I did mean july...oopsy! God forbid i dont want to be late for this! Lol
