Day 8 Of Preop Diet

Ahhhh....that's how i feel! Lol

I would say that as of right now i have been 75% on target with the daily 2 Protein shakes, 4oz of protein and 4oz of vegs per day. I have slipped up and eaten a pb&j sandwich 2 of the days or have had a string cheese and a couple slices of lunch meat here and there or even a couple of ritz crackers.

Just wondering if I'm one of the only ones who haven't/didn't maintain the preop diet 100% and if not did your dr. Notice you had cheated (meaning your liver didnt shrink as much as he liked or wanted)?!

P.s. i have lost 4 lbs so far...surely Water weight :P

Oh and dont worry, im not looking for someone to say my actions were okay. My will power is and always will be a work in progress! ;)

I start my pre op next Wednesday and at my last appointment with my surgeon I noticed that when he explained the pre op diet to me he used the words "Do your best". :D I totally picked up on these key words! Good luck!
