  1. When r u scheduled HDubSleevery?
  2. So happy to hear someone else is feeling like I am right now. I'm scheduled for Sept. 20 in Dallas. I,too, have been reading a lot and have been dwelling on the complications. I've decided to quit reading about the negative and focus on the positive. Forensikchic's post was very helpful. Thanks!!!
  3. I'm also scheduled for Sept. 20! Getting a little anxious!
  4. I understand. I'm trying to quit reading about complications because I find myself wavering a bit. Best of luck and let us know how it goes. I've heard good things about Forest Park. Anxious to hear your thoughts! Keep posting so we know how u r doing!!
  5. Who is your doctor Dallasmom? Mine is Dr. Davidson at Forest Park in Dallas. I'm scheduled for Sept. 20.
  6. I meant meds, of course, not mess!
  7. So glad you made it through with flying colors! Sorry your pain is so bad! Meds! Walk! Mess! Walk!
  8. Wish I knew! I'm scheduled for Sept. 20 and have been trying to drink protein for breakfast to ease into pre-op diet. Hate sweets. If I could do protein n V-8 or soup or broth, think I could make it. Fat people r supposed to like sweet, but I hate it! Am concerned about pre-op diet and post-op because I just don't care for anything sweet.
  9. Sounds like you are doing great! Congratulations!
  10. Thanks, everyone! Had a little set back today mentally. my husband and I eat out almost every evening. Am worried that I am going to have difficulty with this after surgery. However, doesn't bother me to take what I need with me to a restaurant to substitute or supplement. Did it with Weight Watchers and lost 50 lbs, of course gained 35 back, Thus, the decision to sleeve.
  11. So enjoyed your posts. Glad you are doing well. May have missed some of your posts. Did you breeze through? I'm scheduled at Forest Park in Dallas with Dr. Davidson on Sept. 20. Kinda having second thoughts.
  12. Thank you so very much for responding! It means a lot!
  13. I am excited and a little scared. I am 61, so I'm stepping right out there. One more ? I do have an occasional glass of wine and have heard so many different things about when it is safe. Do you happen to remember what Dr. Davidson rule is?
  14. Thank you so much for your reply! Very nice of you to take the time to answer. Was Dr. Davidson your doctor?
  15. So glad you posted size, I had no idea. Thanks
  16. I was just so happy to hear about Dr.Davidson and Forest Park! Thank you all so much for sharing! I'm scheduled for Sept. 20. Wondering if you were given any nausea mess before surgery. Also wondering if he uses a catheter and/or a drain. For some reason, I"m terrified of both.
  17. I am scheduled for Septeber 20 with Dr. Davidson. I'll be anxious to hear about your experience and how you are doing following the surgery. How's the pre-op diet going or have you started yet?
  18. Just wondering if Dr. Davidson gave you anything for nausea before surgery. Also, did he use a drain and/or a catheter? thank u!
