3 more days. So ready for this. Not nervous at all. Only had to do 5 days of pre op liquid and am able to have veggies and yogurt. Feel very fortunate about that. Stocked up on muscle milk shakes as 20 grams of protein in each shake. Got my vitamins and am registered at the hospital. Tuesday can't come soon enough. HUGE thank u to this forum. It's been the best support system ever.

I get sleeved on April 23rd. I have an opportunity to go to the carribean the following Sunday or Monday. Flying on standby so no worries about losing ticket money. Staying with friends at their timeshare. One had vcs last year. Pros/cons? Help lol

Well .. 2weeks from Tuesday and ill be on the road to being healthy. Started the process a year ago Monday I fluctuated the last 10 years of a I of 32 - 37. I have sleep apnia and degenerative bone disease. I've had me knee cleaned out and my back fused. I went through hell getting this approved because I wasn't "big" enough. Took Cigna 3 months and 2 denials to approve. My doctors office rocked. Any of u from the Hartford ct area?

And don't forget shopping in the non plus dept. I'm looking forward to that the most (just being honest lol)

I'm at Hartford hospital. I have an opportunity to go to st Martin the following Monday. Going to play it by ear and see how I'm feeling as I can fly on standby. How many days do u have to do the liquid diet? Mines only 5!

I would highly recommend Hartford bariatric. Drs tishler and paposavas. 2 friends went through them and I get sleeved in 2 weeks. Good luck

If u call Cigna the will tell u who's approved

U have to see a certified nutritionist. Cigna requires 3 visits

I have Cigna. The required the following: 3 nutrition visits once per month...had to be once a month..no more. No less. The required one psych eval, 1 cardiologist visit and an upper GI. Also my last 2years of weights from my primary and a note from my primary. My bmi when I started was 35. So I also needed another factor. So I did the sleep apneA test which I knew would b positive. They denied me at first button doctors office helped get it approved. Took a year from start to finish. I get sleeved in 2wks. Hope this helps
