  1. Today I have my final psych appointment I had to do 2. First was for the test, this one is to go over the test. Then I go to meet the surgeon. Getting excited but how much more do I have to look forward to once I meet the surgeon?? I know I have to do a ekg and other test before we send in for approval to blueshield. But for those already thru this stage how long did it take? Thanks

I am so there with you! I have only my psyche test to do and then I too have completed all the checkoffs required. So excited to get a surgery date soon. Good luck to you!

  2. OMG I am so there with you. I am nervous too about my psyche eval... is there a way to fail????? My therapist says there is not however, the questions do make me question myself and that is a little scary. They ask the same questions so many different ways. I will be glad when this is done. Its the last thing on my list and tomm I should hear that they are ready to present to the insurance co. Darn, it has been a long 4 months! Anxiety and busyness, appts and tests! Ugh - just let me get the surgery already! Right?!

  3. You go for it, do what u feel would best help u and don't give up. Most insurances that I know approve almost instantly if u have sleep apnea so u might have that on your side for now hoping your insurances is one of them that do approve easily that way. Good luck and don't give up!

  4. So went to Knott's berry Farm last Thursday...

I have not been to an amusement park in such a long time. The embarrassment of not fitting on rides is a little to much to take sometimes....but this time it was different.

I was able to go on every single rollercoaster and thrill ride. I had an amazing time and logged in about 7 miles of walking with no real tiredness. It was great to have so much energy and feel so NORMAL!

3 months in and it has already changed my life.

  5. I asked the same question, the Allergen band is the older one, and I think that one has more slippage potential if I'm remembering correctly our conversation, this one also came in 2 different sizes whereas the Realize band is made by Johnson and Johnson and is one size fits all. Google the difference/comparisons!

  6. I am so there with you. My appt is tomo with my surgeon and I'm afraid I will do something to disqualify me. I'm afraid I will say the wrong thing. Or that my insurance won't approve me and I've called them twice to see what their qualifications are. I'm afraid they will make me so some stupid diet plan for 3 months or so.I know if I had sleep apnea, they would approve automatically.but I don't know if I have it or not. I'm so afraid I will mess it up fir myself tomo morning. Pray! I'm so nervous that I didn't hardly sleep last night. First thing I thought of this morning...

  7. In those cases those are the ones who have not followed the rules most likely or gave up on the band. The successful stories of 5+ years have made it work for them and have followed the rules almost completely, w/ very few falters!!!!!!
