Im newbie here and just starting the process of banding. Looking to get all the information I can before I go to the required seminar. I wish I was as far along as you. Im attending my seminar August 4th then they will schedule appointment with the doctor. From there several hurdles to go through think pulmonary and cardiology, nutristion and physic evaluation, then the process will start. Can you tell me how long all that takes? Look forward to hearing about your p rocedure and look forward to getting to know you. Hi there! I am getting banded next Saturday. I am very excited and nervous. I know what to expect, but don't know what to expect--if that makes sense. I know everyone is different, on their journey, so I am just nervous in general. I live in Raleigh NC and have a supportive husband & 2 wonderful kids. Anyway, I look forward to being on the boards with everyone. Thanks! April -
I have started the process for Lap Banding. Having to attend a semeniar first and then the whold process will be discussed with us. I have been researching information on Lap Banding, and stumbled onto this site. Found it very imformative and already started a list of questions to ask the Doctor at the seminar. I have spent a lifetime and small fortune on weight loss from fitness centers four or five of them every diet plan I could get my hands on and diet centers like Medibolic Weight Loss, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers,Physican Weight Loss Clinic and every kind of diet pill (over counter and perscription) they came out with. All with some degree of sucess but never able to keep it off....and never reached goal but got to within 10 pounds. At my age I'm looking for a final sucessful life style change. Look forward to sharing my journey with you and hearing more about the journey and sucess of you. So hello to everyone
