Started the Couch to 5k program today! Man, I am out of shape.

Finally moved and officially have internet again! I missed you guys...

Had a really bad day on my practice pre-op diet. I have a lot more admiration for the people on here that can do it without cheating. Time to start over. I feel so guilty.

Lol, I totally understand. I am of a similar mind it is seems. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I even added my food log to the same excel sheet so that I can measure what I am eating and look back to the weight loss chart.

Ooh, one other thing we could add to the excel sheet is weight loss in inches!

I might have to try that. My surgeon wants the same thing for the pre-op diet before surgery and I want a practice run. How bad is it? I can't even imagine what I would eat, lol.

That is so awesome! Congratulations on the amazing weight loss! I am hoping I see results like that when my body finally adjusts to this eating multiple times a day thing, lol. Yeah, I've heard he is pretty good, and he is one of the only sleeve docs my insurance covers here. What is your diet like?

Woohoo! I have heard some good things about him. I am having my surgery with Dr. Webb at NFL Surgeons in Jax also. How is the 3 month supervised weight loss going? I am almost in month 3 of my 6. Only three more days!

Yeah, I've got my appointments set until the end, but it still seems like forever and a day away. I am in month 2, but my third visit is on May 3rd so almost 50% there! I just feel discouraged I am not really losing any weight, but I am eating a lot healthier.

Hey Leah, I was reading the Twenty something forum and I noticed you are form around Ann Arbor. I am going to be in Ann Arbor for about two months in the summer for a program at UMich. Do you know friendly GPs or nutritionists who might be able to help me with my six month supervised weight loss?

Wow, I met my surgeon. He is definitely the quintessential curt doctor I imagined, but thankfully, he was able to answer all my questions and make me feel reassured about the surgery.

I really appreciate having special people in my life who understand why I want this surgery.
