Anyone In The 170S Or 180S?
I'm 183 and I've been in the 180s for over 1 month and a half. How long did it take you to get into the170s? or how long have you been in the 180s? I don't know if my weight loss has just completely slowed down or if this is just a hard number to break!

The Sleeve Is So Much Better Than Getting A Lap Band
I also had the lapband put in last year and removed this last february and sleeved in march. I only waited one month to get the sleeve done. I went on the lapband talk forum and told everyone that the sleeve was well worth it but my comments weren't welcome haha. They basically were upset that I'd even bring it up that lap bands were a failure.

Lap Band Take 2, Fail Surgery #4 Success!!!! Now To Decide Whats Next!
The sleeve is amazing. I also converted and I can tell you that you will never have to worry about a slippage again. It's basically no maintenance.

Finally..something To Smile About
Thank you everone I guess it's not slow since the beginning I lost a TON but the last 2-3 months its been so slow. I stall for 4 weeks at a time. Right now is the time that people notice and someone even called me "tiny". I'm far from tiny but that makes me feel like this was all worth it! Not only do I look better I feel more balanced on my feet if that makes sense. I can get around easier and feel lighter when walking.

Finally..something To Smile About
Today I went to the mall and tried on a pair of 14 jeans and they fit!!! I'm a very slow loser this being my 5th month after surgery and only losing 56 lbs. I was so excited to finally see something that was uplifting! I was a size 20 down to a 14. Time to get motivated!

Me Not So Horny......
I have lost all my drive even what I had before surgury. I'm not quite sure what to do about it either. It's like the thought doesn't even cross my mind anymore. It's a little scary becuase I'm only 25 and what if this surgury has damaged my sex drive for life?

Planet Fitness?
I once belong to planet fitness and I didn't enjoy it at all. There aren't many machines and they seem to be the lower end machines. The staff and people working out there also seemed snotty or they stared alot. It also doesn't have a pool. I joined the local YMCA and i enjoy it ALOT more but that's just my opinion

Vitamins Question
I literally haven't taken any vitamins since my surgury almost 4 months ago. I just hate taking stuff but I had my blood test and my iron levels were normal. I don't seem to have any bad effects from this other then occasional tiredness. Does anybody else not take their vitamins?

Anyone Out There That Went From Lap Band To Sleeve?
I have had the lapband put in about 4 months before I converted to the sleeve. This is the BEST chioce I coudl have made and I regret not choosing it first. It gives you a more natural full feeling instead of torture. DOn't get me wrong you will feel uncomfortable after you eat too much but it's not that heart attack feeling you get with the lap band. The best thing about it is you don't have to worry about it eroding or slipping. There's basically no maintenance to keeping up and no fill appointments.

3 1/2 Months Out Some Progress And Some Questions
Thank you for all the post I am trying to start over new...yesterday I wasn't snacking on stuff all day and I stopped myself whenever I would reach for it. The scale is like an addiction to me...I can't seem to stay off of it. I keep telling myself that i won't weight myself for a week but when I wake up in the morning that's the first place I head to after the bathroom. Whenever the numbers aren't what I like it seems to ruin my dad and I tend to eat worse!

3 1/2 Months Out Some Progress And Some Questions
I've lost 2 pant sizes but it seems like people on here seem to be losing them like crazy! I guess I'm just concerned that working out may be hurting me and not helping me. I've been working out since 6 weeks after my surgury and I seem to be a slow loser. I was trying to prevent all that lose skin by doing cardio and weight training. I think my problem is the constant snacking. I always seem to be eating something and I should be tracking down everything going into my mouth.

3 1/2 Months Out Some Progress And Some Questions
I'm about 3 1/2 months out and as that 6 month mark is coming up I'm getting more concerns. I started at 247 and am now at 195. I haven't lost in the past 3 weeks. I keep giong up and down back to the same numbers. I do notice that I am hungrier and I do work out 5 days a week but I'm wondering if the working out is making me too hungry so that I eat up more calories that I even burned. I'm trying to keep the carbs down but I've been craving them like crazy lately. I'm just scared that this is it for me and the weight loss has stopped. DId anybody else feel like this at 3 months?

Half A Sandwich?
Hi everyone! I was just curious if any of you eat sandwiches? The other day I had half a wheat sandwich with turkey and cheese on it no mayonaise. I'm wondering if this is acceptable? It seemed to give me a boost for my workout. I workout 4-5 days a week so I feel like I need a little bit of carbs. My nutritionist mentioned last time I shouldn't have any grains until 75% of my excess weight is lost but I feel like I can make up for it in exercise. What do you guys think?

3 Months And 2 Weeks Progress Pics
Well I can give you an example of a typical day.... Breakfast usually a premier protien shake and maybe a baby bel cheese lunch I usually have a whole greek yogurt and some fruit dinner I could eat for example a half of a hamburger patty and a couple bites of salad. If I eat chicken I can eat maybe half a thigh and I'm full. Things like yogurt or Protein drinks don't fill me up like they used to. Sometimes I could also eat a whole hard shell taco but feel quit a bit uncomfortable after

3 Months And 2 Weeks Progress Pics
I was sleeved on March 14 after converting from band. Starting weight was 247 and current weight is 195. That's 52 lbs lost. I can tell a small change in the size of my stomach but I'm hoping I will be able to notice more changes as time goes on.

199 Lbs!
Dang, I spoke too soon. This morning I was back to 200 again...It's around that time of the month so maybe that could have something to do with it
