  1. Okay, it's time I get realistic. My weight loss has slowed down. Last challenge I only lost about 6 lbs in 2 months.. hit a 5 week stall though. Anyway, needless to say my goal for this next one is a little more... accurate. I'm getting smaller so weight loss is slower...right?

    SW- 188 CW 188 GW 178 Lbs to goal - 10.

    I can do it. :)

And then I'll only be 6 lbs to 100 lbs lost! WOOOO!

  2. So, It's been forever since I checked in- because I've been pretty sad. I started the challenge at 194, bounced down to 189, then back up to 191 and hit a 5 week stall (at 5 months post op, which I hear is normal?) . I tried everything to shake up my routine and NOTHING helped. The scale JUST moved back down to 189 again. Anyway, needless to say I am not going to make my goal of 179, however, I am hoping for 187-185 for my halloween goal. Hopefully no more stalls between now and christmas cause I have some major catching up to do! LOL

  3. So, my weight loss is SO slow lately... I was at 194 at the start of this, then I went down to 189, now I bounced to 191, but I'm sure it'll go back in a couple days.. I don't think I'll make my Halloween goal but I think I'll be at least 185.. I'd be okay with that. Slowly but surely the weight is coming off. I HAVE however, bumped up the workouts so we'll see. Its still the very beginning of october.

  4. Yeah same here, I keep bouncing up and down. Like, tuesday I was 193, today I'm 195, and I'm sure that'll go away and I'll be back down to 193 again.. Hmph. My weight loss has definitely slowed down the past 2 months... I think my honeymoon stage is almost over..

  5. So, I'm trying to decide what my ultimate goal should be- I can't seem to come to any conclusion. On my ticker it says 130, but honestly I think I'd be ok with 150, maybe even 170. I've never even been as small as I am right now. I'm 5'3 and 19 years old- any ideas for a goal? I had surgery april 6th, and have recently had a slowing weight loss- averaging 1.5 lbs a week, opposed to the 2.5 it was.. What I've just been doing is setting small goals and figuring out how I feel when I get to them. For example, my next small goal is 180- 14 lbs away. But I don't see myself being satisfied there. Hmmm. What did your surgeon give you for your goal weight?

  6. Well, I'm kind of bummed because on the 6th when i first posted i was 206, and 2 weeks later (today) im 204. I don't know if I"m gonna make it to my goal of 185! I still have 19 lbs till that goal and only 7 weeks- hopefully I"ll at least get into the 180's. I've hit a tad bit of a stall, but with any luck i'll get to 185.. hmmm!

  7. Well, I missed 4th of july by 2 lbs-but I lost 23 lbs for the last goal. So, I'm setting a similar goal this time.

    lbs to goal- 21

I KNOW i can do this. Even when I slow down I generally lose about 10 lbs a month. Plus, I'm going to up my workouts for the next 2 months. I can't even imagine being under 200 lbs and to think that it could be me in the next 2-3 weeks.. INTENSE. So excited though.

  8. Wow, I cant believe some of the stories you guys are posting that have occured- everything from the OB/GYN and the guy telling you to lose 30 lbs- goodness!

I can't believe people sometimes, I really can't. I mean, I'm thinking of all the different guys with such different body types and I've never discriminated. I've dated em board thin, and then chunky monkeys. LOL. It never mattered to me- but to the world, I suppose, it's a different story.

I remember specifically something that happened a couple weeks ago-- someone said to me

"you're absolutely perfect.. except your weight. And you're working on that". Uhm, are you kidding me? Yes, it was meant to be another nice comment but goodness.. I suppose some people cannot think outside of the boxes society places them in, yes?

As I said before, I'm glad I wont have to deal with this much longer. I know, however, when I am smaller- those types of compliments and comments will never leave my lips.

  9. So, anyone else heard the compliment "Oh, you're so pretty- even though you're bigger" ? I mean COME ON! 61 lbs gone and those types of bittersweet comments are still being made. I mean, of course- the people that say them ALWAYS mean well, i mean, love them to death.. but it's just something that's hard to hear- since my weight has always been a huge insecurity. I know I'm not the only one that's ever heard something like this right? Anyway, I guess I should be more thankful about it. After all, this compliment wont be a problem for too much longer.

Anyway, my question is- I've generally been losing anywhere from 2-4 lbs a week, averaging about 10-12 a month. I'm 10 weeks post op, and the rest I lost before surgery. Is this about on schedule? I feel like other people are losing quicker, but maybe I just feel as if I'm going so slow because I want it all off...?

  10. I'm really nervous because I'll be out of town from the 21st of june-mid july. Hopefully I can lose most, if not all of this before I leave. Plus an extra couple! :D

    Goal-204

    lbs to go-11

I've already lost 14 lbs in the past month-ish..

I might have to change my goal, I'm doing pretty good actually. Ultimately, I'd like to lose 15 more pounds before july 4th.. hmm. Might have to change my goal!

  11. My goals are as follows-

    250 lbs

    225 lbs

    222 lbs (50 lbs lost)

    4th of July- 204

Then, 199! (ONEDERLAND FEELS SO CLOSE! Haha. )

    Then, 172(100 lbs lost)

next, 166 (So I can be Overweight, not obese...)

    After that, 150

Next- 138 (So I can be normal weight, not overweight)

    and my ultimate goal- 130.
