  3. YOU LOOK ADORABLE! And so tiny
  4. I think it's best to hear the good, the bad and the ugly. And to know everyone is different. I had a terrible time post op, but I have a friend fat betty, who just had her surgery Thursday and was home Friday and at Walmaert Saturday (say what????). I am so happy for her ...all I heard pre op were great wonderful stories like my friends and I was not prepared mentally, in case my out come was different, which it was. I am 14 months out and DO NOT regret my sleeve for a second. The only regret I have is that I did not have it done 13 years ago .
  5. P.s. I am able to eat all the foods you mentioned in #12...hang in there!!! It's soooooo worth it!
  6. OH MY GOSH! YOU sound just like I did early out! I was sooooo depressed. I really did go through most all of what you are going through. I was way to hard on myself and finally just decided to take it one day at a time and not worry about everything at once. My first priority was to get the Water in as much as possible. And then try to get in the Protein and Vitamins as soon as I could (about a month out). I'm 14 months out. My relationship with food totally changed. I LOVED food! I use to LOVE to eat, A LOT! And I didn't realize how much I loved it. It was depressing. Now I eat to live, not live to eat. HUGE adjustment (still adjusting). It was so worth it though. All I can say is that it DOES GET BETTER sweetie! Hang in there
  7. Hi sweets! Just checking in to see if you went to a meeting? If so, how did it go? I loved my leader. She was so encouraging.
  8. I am 14 months out and everyday it changes for me. Some days I can actually finish a meal. Yesterday I could only take a few bites of my dinner, and it was sooooo yummy, but I had to stop, no choice. Today at lunch I had a large slice of pizza and could only have half, but other times I can literally finish the whole slice. Go figure. Sleevie really keeps me in check and I'm so thankful.
