  1. WHOO HOO! AMAZING! CONGRATS!
  2. Congrats! That's what it's all about!!!!
  3. But again, it's a small price. No rolls, or bread sticks for me, but it's all good. I eat pasta several times a week, rice, and the other things I mentioned with no problems so it's alllll good
  4. No what happens is that my sleevie actually hurts...I tried eating a roll before dinner and ouch! It was terrible. It just sits at the top of sleevie...so I just don't eat it.
  5. Yes I can eat anything. White breads do not sit well, like rolls, or regular sliced white bread. What's funny is I can eat quesadillas though as well as pizza, and even a biscuit with egg, very interesting.
  6. I drink a venti caramel frapaccino lite everyday. It does have protein in it. Not sure how much. Love it!
  7. I have to wait 30 minutes after I eat to drink ...sometimes I have to choose, drink or eat LOL!!! It's worth it. I've been drinking and eating at the same time for basically all my life, so this is a huge adjustment. But again, worth it!
  8. Love your posts! I LOVE the P's and Q's...GOD help me with the C's LOL!!!
  9. Way to go!!!!!!!! congrats!
  10. WHOO HOO LOVE IT!!!!!!!
  11. I have no regrets...I do wish I could have had it done at 29, when I was done having babies, I'm 44 now. God knows. The only cons are not being able to drink with my meals, and it does at times get depressing not being able to eat more food. But that's what keeps my weight down, SO WORTH IT! My peak weight was 234. I started on this forum at 216. Surgery weight 204 and my lowest weight has been 144 (and that's with trying to maintain by adding sweets). I have been in maintenance for 10 months and bounce between 144-148.
  12. OK my friends, I'm 19 months post op today and weighed in at 148. This is with eating whatever and exercising 6 days a week. So I would say so far, so good. No complaints ...see you Saturday!
  13. Quick update: I'm 19 months post op today and weighed in at 148 and still at the 1-5 lbs gained. This is with eating whatever and exercising 6 days a week. So I would say so far, so good. I will continue to check in and update my progress.
  14. WAY TO GO! CONGRATS!
  15. I'm 19 months out today...and so far, so good!
  16. So sorry you are going through this. I too feel I have personally been attacked at times, but I consider the source, and try to move on. I hope you stay ...hugs!!!
  17. I felt semi normal on day 14...really good at about 6 or 7 months out.
  18. I have lost hundreds of pounds since my teenage years, the problem was I would always gain it back. I am currently 10 months in maintenance and it's a miracle!!! Just sayin...
  19. My son has this cut after cristiano ronaldo the soccer player
  20. I started drinking from a straw pretty quickly, my surgeon said it was ok as long as I didn't get in any extra air at the end of the drink...I started chewing gum at about 10 months out, thankfully I haven't swallowed any by mistake.
