  1. Dear sleeve family! I am so full of joy and happiness, and wanted to share. Just 7 months ago I could barely walk up the stairs of my own home, and now 7 months later I'm hiking the Grand Canyon...DID I JUST SAY THE GRAND CANYON???? LOL. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined a year ago I would be able to do this with MY torn up knees...GOD IS GOOD!!!! Here is a picture of me the day after surgery (I was having what in the world did I do moment as you can tell from my expression) at 204.8, and the other picture was taken just this past Tuesday during my hike at the Grand Canyon at 155. I'm SOOOO happy thanks for listening!!! And as always thanks for your support and love!!! YAHOOOOOOOO!

  5. Hi Cheri! Welcome! Boy how I could toooootally relate to your post last June. All I can say is after much prayer and seeking Gods direction, doors continued to open for me and here I am 7 months post op (tomorrow) and feeling so thankful!!!! Today I hiked 4 miles with my daughter with no pain (she even asked me to slow down several times lol). Last year I couldn't even walk up the stairs of my home without pain. GOD is good! Continue to pray, seek God, and walk by faith. HE WILL LEAD YOU....HUGS!!!!

  11. If your hair is thick you should be fine. My hair is very thin, but had a lot of it. I'm 6 1/2 months out and have lost A LOT of it. I purchased clip in hair extensions to make it fuller (as seen in my profile picture). And have hair product to make it seem thicker. Others have cut their hair to a short do and it actually looks super cute. From what I hear, it does grow back, and in the big picture of it all IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT
