Everything posted by sleeve 4 me

  1. Everyone is different. I took 4 weeks off and that was perfect for me. But I've read where people take 3 days off and go back to work after that. I've also read where people SHOP right after surgery, that was NOT the case for me ;(
  2. I took 1 month off, and that was perfect. I was very weak post surgery, and needed to lay down several times during the day.
  3. I have yet to actually meet anyone who has not lost hair post sleeve. However, I have met people with extra thick hair who didn't mind losing half their hair. That was not the case with me. My hair was thin to begin with, and just got worse, and worse. It has finally stopped coming out like crazy. I know it will eventually grow back. For now, I'm happy with my extensions
  4. Ohhhhhhh my! I love you Pam! Thank you sooooo much for your kind words! And thank you for always being there for me. I know I sound like a broken record but I really could not have done this without you and the many others that God has put in my life. We will forever be connected by this wonderful and special gift. Hugs! I also want to thank you for reminding me to take a picture to always remind me of making my goal
  5. Thanks everyone! You are all so special to me! Hugs to all! Have a wonderful and blessed weekend! God bless!

  9. Hi All! I haven't read all the posts here, but all I can say, is TRY TO LOSE as much as possible pre op. It will help you big time once you are sleeved. You will have less to lose AND get to your goal (and beyond) sooner. I wish I would have lost 4 more lbs. pre op. Anyhoo, the best to all of you! HUGS!
