I don't know if I have any "good advice", but I might be able to put things in perspective a little. First of all, I know you want this weight to just go away fast, but I think you are doing just fine (there's always room for improvement) and you shouldn't let this get you down. Perhaps your weightloss is slower than some, but losing slower will do a lot of good things for you: you skin won't be baggy, you will have time to develop muscle tone, you will be able to adjust to the new lifestyle instead of starving yourself/just being on another "diet", and mostly importantly those that lose slower are twice as likely to keep it off as those that lose quickly with drastic measures like starving themselves. I TELL YOU ALL THIS BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO TELL MYSELF WHEN I FEEL LIKE I'LL GO CRAZY. I was banded november 30th and have lost 25ish lbs and wish it would go faster, but i have to realize that slow and steady wins the race. If you really want to amp things up there's always the traditional advice of playing around with calorie counting (more or less depending) and uping the exercise, but you're smart enough to figure that out so i don't want to lecture you

i think everyone goes through this. it took me 5 fills and 2 unfills in 8 months to get to good restriction. i am finally down 35 pounds and i thought it should be more, but my clothing size has gone froma 20 to 14 in those 8 months. i know noone wants to hear be patient and that it's goin to happen, but thats the truth. i was so frustrated i actually broke my scale from throwing it down the stairs. as long as you are doing all you know to do, until you get good restriction its gonna be a challenge. hang in there.

protein water (kellogs20, designer whey protein2 go powder mixed with water, gatorade, vitamin water etc.) first two can be found in Giant food stores in the health food sections don't know about other groccery stores but expect it would be in the same place.
Another good one is miso soup or clear sushi-style broth. both really good if u need flavor.
I had my surgery a week ago today and those things got me through. Good luck, it's not so bad, you can do it!

I had my surgery the day before you on the 30th. I'm glad you are doing well! It is definately hard during the holidays, I had a few slip up when I was baking with my niece and nephew. I ate some cookie dough, I'm so stupid. but i ate a few bites off my fingers as opposed to half the bowl which is what i would have done last year for sure. Luckily i don't have any holiday parties...i only have to make it through christmas eve and day...that's when we have some sweets at the house.well best of luck
