<p> I have struggled with my weight all my life. I began the lapband process a few months ago after seeing a bariatric nutritionist. She had me think about long term goals, knowing that like most, my weight loss and weight gain will continue. My dad had the lapband surgery about a year and a half ago and has been successful. In more ways than one, he and I are just alike and my struggles with my weight follow suit. I have decided to have lapband surgery to get my weight under control while I'm young and have much of my life ahead of me. </p>
