Thanks so much for the ideas!! My surgeon requires someone to be with me, so I'm hoping that he'll settle for a phone number to my mother. She'll be a better resource should anything arise anyway. My mom is having a really hard time dealing with the fact that she isn't going to be there anyway, so this may make her feel better.
And if I do find someone to go with me, I may get the limo anyway!! My initial reaction to that idea was that I LOVE it. The more it sits with me, the more I like it!!!
