  3. Hi, I'm just starting out too. Very excited but also anxious. Maybe I'll see you at support group or something. I live in Voorhees and will be joining the Virtua New Beginings. Best of luck with your journey!

  4. Hey, thanks for the friend add. This site is great. I'm seeing a lot of positive feedback about the bands. Not that it's easy but everyone seems to be having positive experiences over all. I'm not banded yet, still going thru the steps for insurance approval. I'm hoping for Sept/Oct. Still researching and trying to find out what kind of experiences others have had. Keep in touch! :)

  5. Hey everyone...I'm very excited that I'm starting this journey. It's a long time coming for me and it's high time I started making myself my priority! I am however a little anxious about some of the things I'm hearing from others who have decided to go with bypass instead of band. 6. Hi Promises. I've just begun to venture down this road and am very excited and scared at the same time. I'm glad to see that you have been successful so far and believe you will continue to be successful in the future. Have you encountered or heard of any band cases that have failed after 5-10 yrs? I'm hearing some people talk about this and it has me a little worried since I'm 42 and hopefully will still be around in 10 years. I do not want any problems from the band.
