Hi guys. I don't know if any of you are still on here but I'm having my surgery in one week and I'm super nervous. I have dr brown and I like his staff I just want some advice on these secod thoughts I'm having. I weight 220 and am 5'7 and so im obese but it's just hard

I'm only 18!! What am I doing! This is like if I were to have a baby. It's a lifelong commitment and I don't think I can do it! But the weird thing is I'm mainly scared about surgery and right after with the pain. I've been in so much pain in my 18 years and I really can't go through more.

But I just want to be that beautiful girl! But is that enough to do this surgery? I don't have diabetes or anything. Its just to lose weight and look skinny. Or is it because if I continue on this path I will be that 300 pound in happy girl?

Well insurance was approved. So I'm gonna be getti banded in 10 days. Im so ready but goodness it's just such a change. I'm eating everything and I don't care even though that's bad. Do you guys think that's bad? I mean I know the commitment it's just my whole life I've watched what I've eaten my whole life I just want these 10 days to atop worrying.

Thats good to hear! A flawless journey would be amazing to have to let's hope! How much have you lost?

I live in Thornton but go to CSU so fort Collins is where I will be for the long haul. I get banded the 25th and just looking for people to talk too about it =)

Wow! Thank you so much! I went to fat camp and lost 30 pounds and over the past 5 tears gained it all back plus some. And you totally have the rest of your life too! Thank you forth words and I hope to keep in touch! Pictures and measurements are something I never thought about but I can totally see why it helps in the journey!

My date to get banded is the 25th and I just want to talk to peopl and see if they went to my same doctor and to know their progress in their journey!

This is just what I needed! I just want a better life (my life is great and I'm happy but there is just something missing). I am about 220 and I work out ALL the time I just don't know why I can't lose weight! I hope to keep seeing your guys weight loss because that's amazing! I'm scared I won't get the results other people on here got but I'm hoping for the best
