1 week after surgery and 7.7 pounds lost! Still a bit sore and can't wait to have the stitches removed. The liquid diet is going well, mainly home-made vege. soups and slim fast. I have also had a few fresh juices but was told by the clinic that they should be limited because of the high amounts of sugar. Does anyone have any other suggestions for the liquid diet? I am surprised at the volume of liquid I can drink at one time (over a 10 to 15 minute period) about 300 ml, is this normal?
