  1. I want to thank you to those positive post, you understood what I was saying. I regret the title of my topic. And I want to apologize at those to were offended by what I said. I never meant that those who weight -200 didnt have the right to be banded or was personally angry at such banders.

I was 448 pre liquid diet. I was 434 on surgery day. And I will have my one week weigh in on Monday. I am 5'11 and jeans size 32.

My goal is to be down to a size 20, and at size 20 I was close to 200. I didnt mean to hurt other people its just I am a cup half empty type person when it comes to my weight loss. And y'all are right I am very jealous and envious to those who weight 199, because I haven't seen that number since I was in middle school.

I was frustrated and typed without forethought!

    I'm sorry

  2. I am 5' exactly. If I had weighed 199lbs when I got banded I would have had a BMI of 38.9! Sorry that makes you mad. What makes me mad is people that don't think some people are/were fat enough to get surgery.

Personally I am glad that I had the motivation to do something when my BMI was only 32. Being obese was bad enough , I don't see why I should have had to wait until I was morbidly or super obese to do something about it.It is always better to do something sooner rather than later.

Im sorry are you suggesting i waited untill i was "super obese"? I'm 23, I didnt really "wait" that long!

I said in my orignal post that i didnt know who i was mad at but just i was mad. that i get frustrated that i wish i was 199!

  3. Thanks everybody, I am home now! I had the lap band put in and the iband done (if you don't know that that is google "iband" and "dr. Smith" he is doing some research on different techniques.

It was all great except the "gas bubble" pain.. it wasn't in my shoulder, it was all over my abdomen. I was at a 9 on the pain scale when I woke up. But although I'm still in pain I'm extremely excited, I've finally taken my weight in my own hands and will be able to do this. I want to thank all of you for your support and love, this forum is a special kind of place with wonderful people! I love you all!!

  4. Well not really, it's just so freaking hard! I am so hungry!

    Today I had:

Chick-fil-a tortilla Soup (more creamy than I'm suppose to eat but I was starving and it was the only place I could think of with soup!)

    Two premier Protein shakes

    One sugar free strawberry Jello

    One sugar free chocolate pudding

and half a cup of chicken noodle Soup (before you add Water, so I guess the concentrate?)

I wasn't suppose to have the 2nd soup but I was in pain from the hunger and I'm still hungry now.

Does this get better or am I going to be in pain for the next two weeks?!

  5. So I am a big girl! 400+ over here people! I don't lose weight easily, hence WLS. I mean usually I lose weight when I'm sick and that is it! I am so nervous about the surgeon to say I need to drop X amount of weight or have a certain bmi. Cause if that is the case I doubt I will ever get the surgery. Right now I eat roughly 1200-1700 calories a day and work out three-five days a week. I'm a full time student looking for a job so my guess things aren't going to get easier for me. I don't mind the hard work, it's just that nothing ever seems to work!
