It's so hard to just sit back after 6 months of preparing for this & wait just a few weeks on someone to say approved or denied. I'm a nervous wreck. I just want to hear something already! My stomach gets in knots when I think about it. I called the insurance on Monday and they said to check back on the following Monday.

I'm in the lobby at the Hotel. I"m having surgery in just a few hours. I'm nervous, but excited, but wondering what this is gonna be like. Just wanted to let ya'all know!!!

wow. I found this to be amazing. I've never heard of that. I have no advice. But i do know one thing your doing great. and I do believe you will see oneunderland. Keep faith and keep believing! your gonna get there!

When do they do this test? The morning or surgery or when?

I have had surgery on one knee (major) and have arthritis in both with dislocating knees. I have a excercise bike and also a bike i go out and ride that i got this summer, it helps. i also do walk away the pounds and do what i can do.

i called my insurance on Monday the 17th and it was approved!!! yay!!!! i'm really happy. i had them fax a letter to my dr's office. it was sent in on the 6th. so didn't take to long with BCBS of Illinois

I Love the Leslie Sandsone dvd's. they seem to really give me a good work out. Then I may try to add in the stairs after the surgery an dsome other things I like this topic. There isn't a gym even remotely close to me. Thanks for asking this

I was wondering the same. some of your results are amazing. I was diagnosed in 1998. went thru infertility treatments etc. Deal with a LOT of symptoms. While doing the pre diet for insurance I started having a period after 2 1/2 years without one and guess what even ovulated which I hadn't seen but a couple times in my life! Amazing. I'm totally believing that the lap band will help ALL my symptoms. I'm so excited. Waiting to be approved now So happy for you all!

yes call bcbs yourself, as i did. the place i am having my surgery had things all messed up. but finally calling myself i got everything taken care of. it's always better to ask your insurance yourself (lesson's i've learned ) best of luck to you

What all did you have for your Pre op diet? I'd like to do a week or two of a liver shrinking diet. I've seen some do different things, was just curious. also what kind of protein shakes did everyone do or have? thanks
