  1. i like the minor procedure thing,,, I really don't think you are going to feel like going anywhere at all. wait to the night of and start letting him know that you are not feeling well at all. which will probably be true anyway.

  5. I think it is just a part of the healing process.I too remember that pain. I moved around too quick, and i would experience that same pain
  6. SJ, everything you are experiencing is a part of the process. Trust me You will be so glad you started this Journey. I will be honest, i had my surgery on 7/11, and i still have the left shoulder pain, from time to time, but not enough to regret having the band. The facet that I can know cross my legs after 19 years, and wear a size 14, after 19 years, out weigh it all. God luck. walk as much as you can, take gas x
  7. you look fabulous
  8. you should get the chocolate kind from walmart..in the pink and white bag, i can't think of the brand. taste like candy
  9. Also, it could be from that breathing tube they put down your throat when you in surgery.

  12. vanilla honey is great!!
  13. Are you suppose to be eating that already?I'm really surprised that you were actually hungry enough to eat a biscuit..... it's sort of early for that. But I was able to eat bread up until my 2nd fill. but that was toast, i would be too scared to eat a biscuit. try and stick to no more than a cup of food. Good Luck!
  14. if you haven't started..try walking. you don't need a clearance for that. make sure you are drinking at least 64oz of water daily. i haven't been lately and i can tell the difference.
  15. sounds like you are too tight.... did you drink water before you left the Doctors Office?
  16. i have had that problem every since i had the surgery...(7/11/11) i think it comes from either drinking too fast and some times being too full.
  17. that was awesome, i needed to hear that also, because i've been at the same weight 4 1/2 weeks
  18. i also had surgery in july 2011, I have lost 29lbs from the surgery 11 pre-op. i have been @ 183lbs since oct. 17th...what i have realized is there is a period where u may not lose.how much have you lost? how many cc's do u have in your band?
  19. eat sugar free fudgesicles and popsicles they really work
  20. it happens a lot with me also. I was told that it means you are full.
  21. OMg.. I thought it was just me... Every time I get a fill i am starving the same day. If it wasn't for my will power to make this work...i would eat the same day as fill. normally 3 days later (after fill) I don't have to eat breakfast for about a week, but i make myself drink a slim fast well at least half. how many cc's do u have? i have 8.2cc's in a 14cc band
  22. HEY, just wanted to know how everybody were doing. we are over 110 days out of surgery. please share if the band is working for you. I can't imagine life without it. I've only lost 29lbs from the surgery 40lbs total. But I feel Fabulous!!!!
