I'm continuing to pray for Peace for you. Just peace, the rest will all fall into place when you have peace. I know it will happen for you and the anxiety will ease, the stress and indecision will fade away and you'll find your personal focus again. I know it will happen Lisa Ann.

Now here's an update on my mess:

My leg was doing so well over the weekend that I mopped floors, did laundry, picked up sticks in the yard and went to the basement to groom one of my dogs.

Then on Monday, I stretched out on the couch at mid-morning and "tweaked" the knee again when I turned over! sheesh..it hurts again. I'm keeping a heating pad on it and took some anti-inflammatories...hoping it will settle down and let me get back to life.

Hey Tiff, I just found this recipe for baked Mac n Cheese using Dreamfield's pasta (way lower carb).... I thought of your little guy that loves Mac N Cheese... hope you like it if you try it.

I was approved for Care Credit immediately..that's what concerned me...lol. Also, it's high interest. I ended up using a portion of my home equity and put the rest on a credit card that I can pay off this summer. good luck with your surgery

that bison meatloaf recipe looks awesome...and so much closer to the fat grams that I'll allow myself for a dish. I hope you enjoy it. Just remember that bison seems to cook faster because it's so lean.

I recognise you from the B2G site (I'm sassy46545 over there) ...are you considering the sleeve or just hanging out on a cool site?

My band has to come out. My body is not tolerating it at all.

I'm revising to the sleeve on Dec 14.

Hi Vegas,

I hope you don't mind me contacting you in a pm. I noticed on one of the threads that you had used CareCredit for your surgery. I applied through them and got an immediate approval which in this economic times, raises an alarm signal in my brain. Have you found them reliable? Easy to work with? Is the CareCredit card accepted by Dr. Aceves? I have a very good credit rating but the "instant" approval to spend 10K kind of spooked me..lol.

Thanks Marilyn...as I said before, I've been down to Almater Hospital twice. Once for my own surgery and again this past January to assist a friend that was getting the sleeve surgery.

I'm confident enough in the care I have seen there that I'm going alone for this surgery. See you there!
