    Billy Blanks' P.T.24/7

I had not heard of it until your post. It's looks interesting. I might give it try; I tried Tae Bo years ago (VHS, that tells you how long ago :-)).
  7. That's awesome! Keep it up, the successes will only get better.
  8. I'm approaching my 3 month mark as well and has found that especially over the last 2 to 4 weeks, I have been majorly exhausted. Completely wiped out. Like you, I'm taking my Vitamins, etc. I don't even have energy at the moment keep my gym appointments (I feel so guilty). It's as though I just can't get enough sleep, I don't remember being this sleepy even after coming home from surgery. Also, I have been having insomnia more frequently over the last month or so. I finally purchased some Sleepytime Tea by Celestial Seasonings to help me get and keep my zzz's. I can completely relate to what your describing. I am scheduled to have blood work done next week before my 3 month checkup. So I'll be interested to see if I am low in Iron or vit D. I will also mention this to doctor when I return.
  9. Congratulations on your overall success of the last 6 1/2 months, but especially a big congrats on your last 30 days. The small successes sometimes count more than the big ones. Great job!!!

    Weightloss Per Week?

Hi I'm currently 11 weeks out and have lost 35 pounds. Which averages out to be about 3.18 pounds per week. However, some weeks the scale does not actually move. A better measure I have found is my clothing as I am sure many others will agree. Even if the scale hasn't moved, my clothing is steadily getting loser and shifting down in size. Much fun shopping my own closet.

    The Dreaded Slimes

Perhaps your scrambled egg was too dry...my NUT suggested adding just tad bit of milk to make eggs fluffier and moister to make them go down easier. Turkey bacon gives me the slimed, I think I'm not chewing up well enough or eating too fast.

    Why would you say that?

In the same timeframe, 2.5 months i've lost 34 pounds, which I think is great. Compared to your loss of 57 pounds, you are doing fantastic!!! Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. People with misguided intentions especially loved ones tend to "be helpful" but it does not quite hit the mark, and comes across as hurtful. Don't dwell on it, let it roll off and you keep working your sleeve knowing that your loss is permanent compared to the BL contestants who more than likely will gain it back once they go home back to real life. Awesome job!
  16. I have taken it in the past but not since I had surgery in July. I found that when I was taking it, it did help with my pain somewhat. I finally had surgery in May for my probelm area (only eliminated one problem) but not the underlying problem. I may start taking it again, but not within the next few months. Good luck!
  17. I am in the same boat. I will lose a few pounds (2-3) then nothing for a week or two or three. Then overnight I'll drop 2 or 3 and so the cycle goes. I am almost 10 weeks out as of this Friday, 9/30 and I've lost 32.5 pounds so far.

I swear I am not crazy

    Call your surgeon's office immediately

    If you could....

My answer is the same...no I don't wish for any other type of surgery. As far as the RNY, the whole rearranging of my plumbing and malabsorption held absolutely no appeal. The DS, I never even investigated and the LB, I've heard too many horror stories and the idea of the plastic parts did not hold much appeal nor going in regularly to have fills. The Sleeve was the best choice for me!

    Looking good!!
  22. You look great. You also don't appear to be self conscious in the updated picture at all.

    I'm so tired lately...why?

The same off and on. Some weeks I'm really sluggish, others I feel energized. I am 8 weeks out today.
  24. Hi! First as many others will state on this forum, don't compare your weigh lose to everyone ele's, it will only serve to frustrate you. Everyone loses at a different pace. I only had to do a day before fast, so I'm can't be of any help there, but gaining weigh right after surgery is normal because they pump you full of liquids after surgery to keep you hydrated-- I left the hospital 5 lbs. Heavier. Also they fill your abdomen full of gas during surgery. The surgery is working and you will lose weigh but unlike many of us who think that the pounds will drop off in huge amounts and admittedly I was under that impression as well, it does not for the majority of us. From what i've read here and on other forums most are losing in spurts for example you may lose five pounds (or one) overnight or over the course of a couple of days and then nothing for a week or two or three. However, I go shopping in my closet and have found that I've lost inches as opposed to pounds as clothing fits that did not before, or is now too big. Chin up, this is a process that will take time to work. Focus on getting in your liquids, Proteins and start exercising as soon as your able to even when or if you hit a stall, just keeping doing what your supposed to do and before you know it you will be at goal. Good luck!
