  1. i haven't been to an "in person" support group. Is it something we all should do? Congratulations on your surgury. Are you feeling better this week?

  2. The insurance companies at work - but doing their job. I am sorry that you have to wait three months - but I'll bet you get healthier during that time. We're all her with you, and know you'll be fine.

  3. I know you are thrilled with your progress. You're right; plateaus are in the picture, but stay active. Congratulations!

  4. Do some walking, too, if you feel like it. My husband and I would go to the mall and I would walk - slowly at first, but I got better. It will help with the gas pains. Best of luck. Keep me posted.

  5. Oh, Goldenvic. From what you wrote, you could be my little sister. Eat out of boredon, anxiety, no time to eat, and then eat too much. I'm excited for you. Keep me posted.

  6. Congratulations on your surgery. I hope it all went well. Very exciting journey ahead '-)

  7. I ended up self pay, I couldn't wait. What is your status now?

  8. Try to keep me straight, please ;-)

  9. Hi, NCDreamer. Hope you're doing well. I just had surgery in June, so I'm way behind you.

  10. How are you doing now?

  11. I am so excited that this is going to happen for you.

  12. Nancy, I live in Cary. How are you doing with your weight loss?

  13. How are you doing with your weight loss?

  14. Still no adjustments. I am told I am doing well.

  15. I agree, Sabrina. Every time I go into this site, I learn something new-

  16. I go in for my second adjustment this Tuesday. They did not do one the first time I was scheduled for one. I was told I was doing fine. All is well. I do a lot of water aerobics and water walking. Those are my favorite exercises. I don't mind sweating, but I don't want to KNOW I'm sweating. You don't know how much you're sweating when you're in the water ;-)

  17. Went in for my first adjustment this week, but they did not do one. The PA felt that everything is really good the way it is. When going in for one of the adjustments, I have to drink something that will show up on a machine as it goes through my esophagus and then into the smaller area of my stomach and on into the larger area. It was interesting to see the stomach(s) in action as the liquid moved.

  18. I had my surgery one month ago tomorrow. I have lost 14 lbs, and am happy with that. As long as I am going down instead of going up, I consider it a success. Dr. Enochs thinks I will continue to lose about .5 lbs a week. Sounds really good ;-)

  19. Best of luck. I had mine yesterday, and it all went smoothly. Will try very hard. Aren't you going to have to tell your husband? Who is going to drive you? I've been told I can't drive for two weeks - until I get doctor's release.
