  1. Went in for my first adjustment this week, but they did not do one. The PA felt that everything is really good the way it is. When going in for one of the adjustments, I have to drink something that will show up on a machine as it goes through my esophagus and then into the smaller area of my stomach and on into the larger area. It was interesting to see the stomach(s) in action as the liquid moved.

  2. I had my surgery on June 6 and am thrilled with everything. The first couple of weeks, I was bloated, but all is well now. I have started Water aerobics and other exercise. My husband and I went on vacation last week, and we walked a lot, climbed through rocky areas, etc. I thought the whole time about how much easier it was without an extra 14 pounds on me. I hope you are doing well now that you have had your surgery. Keep me posted!
  3. I had my surgery one month ago tomorrow. I have lost 14 lbs, and am happy with that. As long as I am going down instead of going up, I consider it a success. Dr. Enochs thinks I will continue to lose about .5 lbs a week. Sounds really good ;-)

  4. Best of luck. I had mine yesterday, and it all went smoothly. Will try very hard. Aren't you going to have to tell your husband? Who is going to drive you? I've been told I can't drive for two weeks - until I get doctor's release.

  5. My husband knows, and two friends in Florida know - that is it. I am "afraid" to tell my grown sons, but feel guilty keeping this from them. I am in the same place you are. Have no idea what to do. Keep me posted on what you do,
  6. Paul Enochs - recommended Isopure from GNC to me. It is 80% Protein - maybe that will help the hunger. I have not had anything but that and Water since surgery (yesterday).
