Why does it seem that 30lbs is so far away

I'm doing alright now, started my pureed stage on wednesday but still only really eating liquidy things. Tried and omlette this morning... AMAZING but could only have like 4-5 bites. So i had it for b-fast AND lunch lol. How are you feeling these days? This coming wednesday i can start my soft diet and im STOKED to have some real food!
