  6. I would start again on the PPI's as they do help with some hunger. As for an appetite suppresent, I would not do it, but I can tell you that my surgeon told me that if I needed to get the last 10 lbs off he would prescribe me some. I am hopeful that I won't need them. You are lower on the scale now so Im thinking its just coming off slower. Be patient. 800-1000 calories is probably just right or a little low for you. Check with your NUT, mine said now I need 1000-1200.
  7. So its been a while since I've posted a blog or updated anything on here really. I have been really enjoying my weight loss overall. It has truly been a Blessing. First, as a follow up from my last blog entry I did have cancer and it appears that it did go away when my stomach was removed. Very optimistic now. Now onto the subject of this blog...I blogged before about the amount of attention I was getting just before surgery. All were willing to bet it would be more post op, and yes it is. My inner struggle I believe is similar to other sleevers out there who are single....should I be happy with the attention, move forward and remain positive? Or not even give those the time of day who wouldn't give me the time of day if I was my previous weight? I want to believe I am a more outgoing and positive person than I was before. I have always been this way, but as a fellow sleever noticed I have come out of my shell a bit. Is this behavior what is attractive or is it purely physical. A part of me wants to be upset and not give anyone the time of day since they wouldn't have a few months ago. However, I will remain positive and continue to be me and hopefully weed out the ill intended ones Love all of my fellow sleevers and wish nothing but the best for you all!!!

    The waiting game...

This was the hardest time for me! Good luck!
  11. Was told I'm losing "too much" weight, thats funny, I've been basically stalled for 4 weeks :/

    Help?

Yes this is a good thing. Your company provides you a nurse to assist with any questions about your upcoming procedure and post op. It appears you were approved.

    why so many gallbladder issues?

I lost weight quickly 4 years ago and had to have my gall bladder out and this wasn't from surgery as I just had it in March. Basically what happens is that your body gets used to a strict diet in high protein and low fat then you go and eat something high fat and your gall bladder over reacts. Crazy thing and intense pain, but not uncommon.
  14. I only had vision loss from the Morphine the first week after surgery.

    carbs

Yes, either Atkins or Premier will have the lowest. Also if you get it from Smoothie Factory, my favority is the Gladiator, 45g with very little carbs depending upon a fruit you choose.
  16. You look great! I need to take mine still and look for some old pics because I didn't take full body ones!!

    12 day stall? Help!

I just got out of my stall, so keep calm and know that this will pass. I lost inches while I was waiting for my stall to end. Make sure you measure. I stalled from Week 3-6. I am now down 2 lbs. I am so happy its ended and relieved that it is just a phase. Stay on track and keep pushing forward!!!
  18. How Lovely and Exciting!!! Wishing you all the best!
  19. From what I understand the leak had been there but didn't show up in the testing because of the swelling, once the swelling went down she went on like normal. It was such a small hole that she never noticed it. She started getting frequent infections and then they found a very small leak after some further investigation. My guess is that it was there from the operation, but the swelling didn't allow such a small hole be exposed on the leak test.
  20. As with anything there are risks, just know what the risks are and your options for treatment if they occur.
  21. I'd compare the gummies to your multi chewable because they may not have as many vitamins and minerals as the chewable. All the ones I compared didn't. I use Centrum Multi Orange Chewable, got it from Target.
  22. I honestly don't think so, I at least have never heard of that. Not completely sure. Either there is a leak or there isn't. I know a girl who had been sleeved but didn't know that the leak she had was there until she suffered several bouts of pneumonia. Therefore, it was at around 6-9 months that she found out about the leak.

    Change of clothes?

I found that vanilla shakes especially the ones that are very sweetened do this to me.
